Why not Gentoo GNU/Linux?
>>62451690

I'd much prefer sumata, but SumatraPDF is good too.

So now that Self-Destructing Cookies no longer works on Firefox, what is an alternative?
Don't say Cookie AutoDelete, that shit sucks and was made by a 5 year old.
>>62451452
Why doesn't it work anymore?
>>62451469
Firefox 55 killed it
>>62451452
Set Firefox to always use private browsing mode, problem solved. One less extension bloat.
ITT: unconventional input devices you'd like to see get made
mockups welcome

Sadly, this one's just an april fools object
I hate that stupid flick input, but I guess it's more intuitive if you spent years inputting kana the old T9 way.
>>62451904
It's much more straightforward
On a normal keyboard you most often input:
Latin -> Kana -> Kanji
It seems logical to skip one step.
Only phoneniggers prefer that over a normal keyboard.
give me a non half assed open source clone of this program and i will make the switch to loonix immediately.

I'm looking for a multiband handheld radio, as I'll be getting my ham license tomorrow.
I don't want a Baofeng and can do about $150.
Anyone have suggestions on radios and accessories? Radio general thread?
I don't have any suggestions but I'll bump your thread because this sounds more interesting than 95% of the stuff we usually talk about here

Yaesu FT-60 my man. $160 new, about $120 used. Add another $20 or so for an antenna upgrade.
>>62450866
Thanks.
Amazon good enough for one of em?
What if I want a home station? Reading the AARL Technician and General books over the course of a week has turned my brain to radio jelly.
Why are you not using a 4k TV as a monitor with a comfy reclining chair?
>but muh input lag
false, my TCL 605 has only 14 ms of input lag, not noticeable at all.
The picture quality is far superior to 4k monitors
Because I have a 5k iMac.
Any more questions, pleb?

why would you post a render and not a photo?
i just want a phone i can use with one hand again without being scared to drop it
I'm upgrading my TV after a decade. I currently have a 32-inch 720p TV, and I'm upgrading to a 43-inch 4K TV.
Does 720p/1080p content look like shit, blown up on such a large, high-def screen? I want to play vidya and stream without having to be right in front of the damn TV.
Don't be stupid, get a 1080p one instead. 99% of "4K" content out there is actually 1080p content due to chroma subsampling.
What the fuck man, you should see by yourself, 1080p is already deprecated since 2009, 4k is already mainstream and is pretty good, if you have a console/pc/whatever that can handle it.
Also what do you mean by
> I want to play vidya and stream without having to be right in front of the damn TV.
>>62449782
1080p will look fine. It scales incredibly well. You can look at Rtings to check out models but usually there's never any problems with 1080p scaling.
>>62449893
That's just dumb as shit since all the good panels go into 4K screens these days. And 1080p upscaling is nearly flawless on modern sets.
