Is there any laptop that is good-decent for gaymen and the screen isn't utter shit?
I am a photographer for a real estate and development company so I travel around the country. Usually I carry around a MBP for work (utter shit for anything that Adobe CC) and an Asus G551 (decent for gaming, but the screen is shit color and contrast wise)
Any suggestions to stop lugging around two computers?
I'm looking to spend around 1200-1400, I'm not looking for a powerhouse, but I'd like to play recent stuff at least in medium settings.
Are there only shitty distros here ?
Is it possible to be free without a shitty piece of shit distro ?
Regardless of what the FSF says, Debian is fully free as in libre. The reason why FSF doesn't include Debian on that list is that it is easy to add "non-free" to the end of your repository entry in /etc/apt/sources.list
You can install non-free software on all of those distros listed, so their logic in this case is retarded.
Debian can be 100% free. However, if you use proprietary hardware the installer will tell you that you need non-free kernel modules.
Is a mid-range PC from 2009 still usable as a main PC today?
For browsing the web probably. A Core 2 Duo would be really tough to justify using, basically any sort of multitasking would bring everything to a crawl. Some people are still using a Core 2 Quad though.
A = MPV
B = VLC
C = KODI

That keyboard isn't backlit so I guess you're requirements could be different than mine. I'm limited to those double shot keys that are not printed/etched. This could be a good idea anyway, though, since they don't wear out.
I've only switched keycaps to get different colors, never switched them out due to wear.
The Kananic keycap set is pretty common and sold by a lot of different sellers for about ten USD,
I've also bought a yellow and an orange variant of this
those keys are pretty nice.
There's plenty of keycap sets for $50-100 or even more sometimes too. I've never bought any of those overpriced keycaps but I know they are shilled by the guys in /mkg/ all the time. I personally find it a bit silly to spend as much as a full keyboard with cherry mx switches AND keycaps on them costs on just keycaps so I don't have any experience with the more expensive ones.
There's not that many to choose from if you're cheap and want a full set for $10, though. Perhaps you're willing to spend more than me. There's more to choose between if you're going for $30-50 or $100 on a set - but I personally think that's a bit silly given that you can grab a mechanical keyboard for less than some of the "exclusive" keycaps.
And then there's the vanity keycaps.. $50 for a glorified ESC key with some troll thing on it? screw that
it's just a hearing aid mang.
>is it really that sensitive
I remember waaayy back my intermediate school teacher said if they set their hearing aid to the highest setting they could hear people swinging on the playground while inside the classroom.

Now I know Apple shills were always here, but ever since the latest macbook pro came out there is an Apple thread up every single day, and they also shill in different threads. The number of people recommending their products is shocking. /g/ is by far the most Apple shill place I know on the internet right now, and it wasn't like that a year ago. Maybe rddit mighy be worse but I'm not sure.
- Reminder that every single Apple product is inferior to its competition
- Reminder that Apple is the most anti-libre tech corporation there is
- Reminder that Apple products are more about fashion and less about convenience and utility
>apk downloaded from 2 unrelated app proxy sites have identical checksums
Could they have been tampered with in the same exact way?
What's the best way to store your passwords? I just have always had them written down on a piece of paper.
I have an algorithm that I remember and apply to every website's domain name I have a password on so that I have a unique password on every website. I store this info in my head, and if I forget a pass I just preform the algorithm again on the website to retrive my password.
