Okayyy...
>>61799036
she looks like a dude
You do know what less likely means, right?
>>61799036
>Less likely means zero
>Moves from sha1 to sha256
>Instead of storing a sha1 hash for every single chunk in the .torrent file, it just stores the Merkle tree root hash for each file
>There is a protocol to request the rest of the Merkle tree from other peers, allowing the client to dynamically choose it's verification block size.
>Files are now block aligned, making it easy to download single files.
>File hashes are now globally unique, so it should be possible to scan torrent files to find duplicate files, and even download these duplicate files from multiple swarms.
>It's possible to create a backwards compatible .torrent file.

6 months late
Is SHA-256 secure enough? There are tons of ASICs thanks to Bitcoin.

Friendly reminder that if you're a person who respects their individual privacy and freedom, there is no reason to be using the products created by the CIA honeypot that is the Google company.
There is a plethora of options available for you to replace your Google apps that are lighter, faster and better in general, including respect for freedom and privacy.

So this is the true power of JavaScript!?!
Its assuming you are doing + for string concatenation. The minus is a math only function, so it casts the "1" down to an int. Same thing will happen if you do 1 + -"1". There are better examples of javascript's fucked up type inference
Better do stupid shit than error in language without error handling.

>turn on PC
>monitor is a blank screen, green light is going on and off for 1 minute until it finally turns on
Welp, time for a new monitor.. six years and it's dying. 4k or 1440p?
4k is only worthwhile if you go for a large enough monitor. 38-43"
at that size you don't have to GUI scale, and it's essentially 4x 20-22" 1080p monitor in a 2x2 grid but without bezels.
If you're unwilling to get something that large, 25-27" 1440p are also good options.
your capacitors are going bad , just replace those and your fine
>>61798693
But nothing is utilizing 1440p. It's either 1080p or 4k.
