Since there are lots of /fit/izen here, is it better to have all gym equipment at home or go to a gym outside in your opinion?

if you can afford the basics and have a friend for spotting if you need it, then fuck yeah do it from home
gym memberships and shitty policy already piss me off where I'm at

just save money and get a power cage or a squat rack, the adjustable safeties will allow you to do more lifts.

i mean any bench that isn't broken is fine, but IMO a barebones bench and a squatrack, along with dumbells and a barbell will be enough to work any mucle group at all
also haha ur italian feel bad
here's a rec for ya

i would install the equipment in a rented house while i'm at uni, a power cage is too fucking huge
Take a look at the Rogue SML-1 with spotter arms. It's about USD 600 but fits in short space.
Regardless, you'll need about 3m x 4m of space to out a proper rack given clearances for putting on plates and moving around.
