I started reading the brothers karamazov, but in the intro the editor says that it's better to read his books in order (Crime and punishment > The Idiot > Devils > TBK), is this true?
Also I'm not very /lit/erate, is there any other books I should start with before I read this?

K Bros is his masterpiece, maturing of his ideas. You won't get as woke from his other work, but they are all worth reading.
My favorite author and Ive read his entire collection of works.
I started with the brother's as well and didn't find it made an impact even after countless rereads.
My personal fav is The Idiot

Never bother reading the intro the editor tacks on.
