During normal sleep, certainly. Can't be sure it happens properly during Xanax-induced unconsciousness. Also, being immobile is bad for mobility.

There's lots of reasons why this is a bad idea. Alprazolam is also a muscle relaxant which sounds pretty bad for your gym performance. You might develop dependance to benzos.

Xanax ought to be fine. GHB is meant to be really great for muscle repair sleep but dosing can be a problem iirc. Plus it's a common date rape drug, may not be something to have hanging around.
