Are dead hangs (two-handed or one-handed) good for building forearm strength?

yes. i used to do hangs a lot, forearms were kill after every session
Maybe if you add weight. You might as well load up a bar and stay locked out after a deadlift.

What about just doing them one-handed?

It's easier to control your progression with a barbell. I suppose you could use a weight belt for a similar effect, but why bother?

Yes, but try and do partial pullups where you let go of the bar on the way up and catch it on the way down.
Also, one arm hangs are great.
Do weighted dead hangs too.

One armed dead hangs would probably get some benefits over a barbell because you constantly have to keep yourself from twisting.

Traps are hit equally hard but the barbell, and if you're like me and don't want bigger traps or want to let them recover appropriately, then weighted hangs are the next best thing, and are if anything more loadable than bars due to lack of necessity for 2 of whatever plates you want to put on.

Obviously, you dipshit.
