I'm trying to gain muscles rather than strenght or endurance. I can do 3x12 bench presses while really pushing myself on last 2-3s on second and last set with 55lb barbell. But when it comes to bicep curls I can barely do 8 before I simply can't raise it anymore. Would it be acceptable to lower the barbell to 48lb where I can at leastly do 3x10? Same goes for military press.
I'm legitimately curious to know if it's bad to decrease or increase weight depending on muscle group.
Iif you deadlift 4pl8 you MUST curl at least 4pl8 and vice versa with bench. sounds logical?
