It's why a blue collar worker who pushes cement and never lifts can easily outlift and outlast the average gym monkey.

You don't have to do hardcore body destroying lifts or routines everyday. That shits for athletes, rescue workers who're training, and soldiers.
Just a 20 minute full body 1-2 sets at your 80% max workout.
Or a full body high rep calisthenics thing.
It's maintainable and will get you shitloads of strength and allow you to go about your day refreshed and invigorated instead of beat up and looking for a place to curl up and die.

you can progress linearly on ppl, as long as you train 5-6 days a week. ppl routine is the closest acceptable split to brosplit that we have. the golden one does ppl, that guy from leangains does ppl and they are both really strong (and aesthetic).

fun fact: if you do ppl, you're going to progress on the bench, deadlift, overhead press and your back exercise more frequently than you would with ss. as long you're doing them twice a week
