Lifting when sleep deprived, yay or nay?
Didn't get any sleep last night but I have shit to do tomorrow so I don't want something like lack of sleep to stop me from lifting.
But I don't want to injure myself either so that's why I'm asking.

Doing anything but sleep while sleep deprived is for nothing and taxes your heart too much. You need your sleep gains, afterwards you can train as much as you want

Thanks, I guess I'll try and make time for it tomorrow.
its not as much about injury as it is about energy
personally when I don't sleep enough, my lifts drop significantly
and given that I'm trying to progress in weights as much as possible, that's a big no-no for me

This, but try to make an effort and go lift
At least try OP, it's not too bad. You just feel weak for the most part. If it gets too taxing, just stop. All that matters is that you try.

Alright I'll give it a shot, thanks a lot guys.
Nay. Your body needs to recover.
Tried it /fit/, did some overhead presses and I was pooped within five minutes.
Gonna rest for today and try it tomorrow.
