Third incidence of anterior hip pain. The previous two times I thought it was because of the femur head rubbing on the capsule because of weak glutes and stronger hammies and did a fuckload of glute work to try and fix it. Decided to look more into it and it seems more like a strained rectus femoris or hip flexor instead of a joint issue. Currently massaging the fuck out of it and looks better. First time this happened I missed like 3-4 weeks worth of squats, 2nd time the same but both times it was worse than now. Let's hope I only stay at only yesterday

Anybody had any problems with their belts "pinching" them?

When in the very bottom of a squat my belt pinches the skin a couple of inches in from my hip bone, no idea what it's pinching against but it fucking hurts. Tried wearing a hoodie while squatting which helped for a while, but today, it didn't.

I dunno, some marks after the belt is normal but I've never felt pain during squats. Maybe your belt position doesn't allow much forward lean without your belt digging in to your belly?

bruh my left hip hurts at the same spot as yours. I think its weak abductors/adductors. We do a lot of movement forward and backwards but few side to side. I been doing a lot of stretching and mobility to help. I use resistance band and crab walk sideways. I also use hip abductor machine, low weight high reps, just feel the stretch and warm that area up. I squat with tights and thick sweat pants on top to keep the area really warm.

I don't necessarily disagree, however not at the pace I'm working at. A 160kg squat rep max and a 65kg bench rep max is a stupid difference.

Can I split my movements over two days?
So a squat-bench-squat day would be all the squats monday, then bench tuesday. Wednesday would then become deadlifts, and thursday bench, and so on.
