I've noticed that I grab the bar and push it downwards as I'm going up finishing my squat.
Does anyone else accidentally do this?
Is this bad?

To add to this: pushing it down makes it harder to finish a rep
This is not natural right?

I mean with my hands you fucking retard
I'm grabbing the bar with my hnds but as I go up I automatically grab the bar and press it down
Fucking retard
you have to push the bar slightly downwards to feel the contraction in your lats. this creates stability in your upper back and reinforces the prevention of any lower-spinal injuries.

I did that too when i was first squatting. You'll get better over time.
All you're doing is pushing the bar into your back. Your legs are still lifting the same weight so if you have no pain from bar you should be good

Who's this semen demon?

It'll give you elbow tendonitis. Did this myself. Just stop when you catch yourself
