Because I'm lazy what I eat the same thing for lunch every day.

Put a knob of butter (dem fats) and however many eggs you like (I use 4-6) in a saucepan.
Stir constantly, occasionally taking it off the heat and putting it back on the heat.
Do this until it starts to resemble classic scrambled eggs.
Here I like to add in some paprika and hot sauce.
Take off the eat and continue to scramble so it doesn't overcook.

Serve with rice, kidney beans and if you want some salsa. Quick and tasty lunch with everything you need.
The butter makes the eggs silky smooth.

Fuck, I just remembered I haven't bought honey in months. I knew I was missing something.

---
And oh my fucking god - today I got the idea to take my homemade granola (1), remove the 0 cal Walden Farms spread from that and from the Ezekiel bread (2) and combine the two (3).

Gonna sprinkle pomegranates on it tomorrow onward as well. I should remember to take exact measurements and figure out the macros to attach to the recipe tomorrow. Who knows, maybe one of you will like it.

You know that scent you get when walking by a bakery and coffee shop? That's what the bowl smells like. So fucking good.

>ground beef
>chopped bell pepper
>chopped avocado chunks
>chopped chunks of whatever cheese you like best
>white rice
>coconut milk
>lime juice
>apple cider vinegar

Okay mi famiglia the first step is to wash the rice THOROUGHLY. Then when you're ready to cook it only use about half as much water as you would normally, pour coconut milk in to replace the other half. Steam that shit.

Meanwhile throw as much ground beef as you want in a frying pan and cook it up with that ACV. I cook it with the top on for a while, if you do this watch out it'll make your eyes burn like a motherfucker. Once it's cooked to your liking drain off whatever liquid is left and keep it on low heat.

Also during this period you cut all the green shit up.

Anyway once the rice is getting softer and there's less liquid in the pot, pour in a little more coconut milk and then squirt in a bunch of lime juice. Like, more than you think you'll need. Not a shitload though. Continue steaming for a bit. Once all that liquid is gone and your rice is nice and soft you're good to go.

Pour all the meat in a bowl, then all the green shit and whatever cheese you chose, then put the rice on top. Mix it all together. You're done. Butter optional if you want but the rice is fine without it.
>>

Three portions of Liquid egg whites and half an ounce of bacon crumbles from Costco. Microwave the bacon crumbles for 30 seconds, no more, then spray the bowl with cooking spray and add the egg whites, then you put in Morningstar sausage patties, frozen spinach, corn, chicken (Costco $5 cooked whole chicken) whatever you want, then microwave it for 3 minutes on high. Put cheese on top and microwave for another 30 seconds.

One bowl, one spoon, no pans to wash, and you can cook it in a dorm room or efficiency hotel. Good protein and fat, tastes good.

any number of apples
decide how many slices of each apple you want and if you want to peel them. 2 is perfectly fine for me as i hate taking forever to cut them

per every apple:
lightly cover non-skin area in cinnamon
drizzle small amount of honey (if you cut them up into small slices id just dip them in honey)
peanut butter of your choice

stuff almonds etc. into peanut butter as desired (if on a bulk add bits of cookie dough)

bake 10 minutes

Nah, he's right.

Working as a chef now, I can only cook really good food for myself. It cannot be done cheaply, every chef hates that.

For example I grow my own veggies, make my own bread, get fresh eggs and meat from the village I live in, just to make a nice breakfast for myself.

If you don't put effort into cooking, some people actually value you less, since they think you are sloppy in everything you do. Weird innit.

Picture is what I had for dinner yesterday.

You want to eat a bunch of spinach and meat because they are amazing? You don't like spinach? Well, fuck you, you'll like this. Buy light laughing cow swiss cheese wedges (or other low calorie but tasty soft cheese, but laughing cow works well). Buy some fresh spinach. Get a pot. Throw some spinach in there (handfuls of the stuff, it really shrinks) and one or two laughing cow wedges. Heat until the spinach starts wilting. Some people use a little water, but just a little. You're not going to drain anything and I rarely have to add any. Stir and eat. Creamy spinach bitch. Tastes amazing and hardly anything added. The best thing about it is that it's good cold, and makes reheated pork taste amazing and less dry. So you can bulk cook this shit and be awesome. If you want something more jazzy, then add something like another wedge of cheese, parmesan shreds when done, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, hot sauce, or anything else that floats your little boat. But spinach and pork are amazing and easy.

>>35166185
For chicken and/or tuna salad: Add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. I prefer pecans to walnuts. Consider adding dill (or other herbs/dried herbs) if you like it. And if you go the greek yogurt route like >>35168187 suggests, also consider adding crumbled hard boiled egg yolks (and whites if you like). It adds something really nice to it without having to use mayo. And don't buy "light" mayo. Buy the the "olive oil" mayo (it's also light but tastes much better).
>>
>>35166683
You can buy regular ground beef, cook, drain, and RINSE (important part) most of the fat off and get pretty lean meat. Similar to 95% beef or so, and for much, much cheaper. Turkey is what, 98%? So you're not far off. I personally hate ground turkey, so will use beef in all my recipes, and if I'm watching the fat content, will rinse my beef.

The best thing to do for chicken stock is to buy a whole chicken, throw that bitch in a crock pot for many hours with a bunch of water and whatever else you'd like to flavor it (onion, herbs, whatever), and let it cook. When you're done, you have chicken for soups, salad, plain, whatever that is tender and nice. And you have a nice batch of "stock" to use for other things. Freeze the chicken or the stock if you're not going to use it right away, but it's there, and it's delicious, and you'll love it. Keep the stock in the fridge to cool and take the layer of fat off the top and then freeze if you're doing that.

Literally, just buy a precooked rotisserie chicken. Eat it. Throw everything you don't eat in a pot. Throw in a large carrot, two stalks of celery, a few cloves of garlic and an onion. You don't even have to peel or cut that shit up. Add a splash of white or apple cider vinegar, cover with water. Heat on a stove or in a crook pot on low to med heat. Walk away, do something with your life for 6-8 hours then strain out the solids. It's like ten min of effort and way better than any store bought shit. Prolevel: learn to spice.

There is literally nothing wrong with spice mixes. A lot of stuff that's Asian, for example, would have things like white pepper, Thai pepper, star aniseed, shit like that, and it would cost a fortune and they'd go bad before you used them. Getting sick of chicken just reading this thread. For the love of god post red meat before I vomit.

Personally, I don't like chicken stock. I use beef bones.
Just go to a butcher and ask for dog bones, especially ones with the marrow showing.

Take them, boil in pot for 5 - 10 minutes. This will bring out impurities. Dump out water and bones, quickly rinse the bones and toss back into a pot of water again.

Add onions, celery, etc.

Boil for 6-8 hours.

If you want to go asian style, do the same as above and add an oxtail or two but when throwing in your aromatics. Use cloves, cinnamon, fennel (lightly toasted in a pan and put into satchet), throw it in the pot. Also char your onions and ginger. Throw it into the pot. This is the soup base for a pho beef broth.

If you want a pho broth, then add some salt, fish sauce and yellow rock sugar.

After 6 hours or so. Strain out the solids. Put the broth in the fridge and remove the fat that congeals on the top. If you have any identifiable pieces of meat from the oxtail, set that aside to eat.

Now you have pho broth! (if you want specifics, just google up beef pho broth)

>What kind of a taste difference does it make?

It would be like a burger fried in a pan vs on a bbq. Even if its just a gas flame, fire makes most meat taste pretty special.

It works with virtually every animal, from my understanding browning bones beforehand is more standard than just boiling the bones themselves. Baking it just adds a nice flavor as searing meat would, bbqing it (or smoking it, even better) gives it that awesome taste that fire and wood smoke can only give.

If your stock is going to be on the lighter side its probably better to bake. When you bbq them it will dominate most weak or subtle flavors, so it depends on what you need. But holy shit can it taste incredible when you match it up right. I smoked some turkey parts for a sauce (mostly neck, spine, pelvis) that normally calls for just boiling the bones (baked or unbaked) for the flavor. It was really amazing.

If your pho had beef meat in it and you used smoked beef bones that would taste pretty awesome. I really like the beef broth from the pho I've tried, the smoky flavor wouldn't be authentic I assume but you can just call it american fusion. Would still taste awesome. Normally I never smoke bones alone, I have the main meat going on and I just use the extra space for other stuff like sa
>>
>>35176362
Neat, will try baking the bones when I make my pho again
>>
>>35176439

the more you brown them the stronger that specific taste will be, I'd get them pretty brown the first time so the taste is clear and you know if you want more or less next time. A little more than this pic should be good, usually any meat/tissue on the bone will brown first then the edges of the bone and marrow.

>>35176478

Then kill yourself, fatass. Maybe you can take up keto and shovel steak, eggs, bacon, and cheese into your hole and tell everyone how great your diet is. If you're fat and you want to cut weight quick without being hungry, raw vegan is how you can do that.

You're either trolling or an anorexic neet who has his mummy load up on sacks of nuts for him to gorge on 24/7.

Made this last night, fucking delicious and doubles as a weak aromatase inhibitor for dat natural test boost and lower estrogen.

also real easy to make, you need:

>1 pack of white button mushrooms
>1 pack of shimeji mushrooms
>1 pack of maitake mushroom
>2 carrots
>1/4 cauliflower
>chicken broth powder
>soy sauce
>egg noodles

its important you get maitake mushroom because a great deal of the flavoring comes from them, dried is also ok but they have a much better texture fresh, the other mushrooms can be replaced if need be.

prep:
>chop up the button mushrooms into slices (remove the stems)
>cut away the base of the shimeji and maitake mushrooms, keep the stems, just remove the tough base
>cut or pull apart the cauliflower into smaller pieces
>peel and cut the carrots into circles
>boil a medium sized pot (i'm guesstimating 1L of water)
>add 2 spoons of chicken broth & 3 spoons of soy sauce (depnding on your soy and chicken broth you might need to add more/less, just make sure the water taste good and a little salty, doesnt have to be a super strong broth)
>throw the carrot in first
>give the carrots a 5 minute head start and dump the mushrooms in
>mix it around a little and close the lid on high heat for 10min
>add the cauliflower and lower the heat
>when the cauliflower starts getting soft add the noodles
>wait 5 minutes and its done

i'm sure this can be upgraded with some chicken & sprouts but i had none at the time..

Breakfast burrito with 2 scrambled eggs, Onion sautéed in extra Virgin olive oil, 1/2 tsp minced garlic, about 1tbsp shredded sharp cheddar cheese, pepper, and just enough sea salt to taste it. I was out of whole wheat tortillas, but usually I eat those

Am I gonna make it?
>>
>>35180069
aww man that looks and sounds great.
>>
>>35180069
>burrito
No. It's like eating white bread. Cut out the pointless white carbs, and you will make it.
>>
>bag of lentils
>3 cups (or so) of soup
>1.5lbs of chicken
>small onion, chopped
>curry powder
>lil paprika
>salt n pepper
>ground ginger
>2 garlic cloves, chopped or like 3 tbs minced garlic

throw everything but chicken into crock pot (spices and all), then rub more of the spices on chicken and place ontop of lentils in crock pot
let sit on high for like 4-5 hrs and then remove the chicken (should be cooked by now if not wait until it is)
shred chicken in bowl and put shredded chicken back into mixture, mix it up
let that sit on low for a bit just to let juices get all in chicken and what no

blam you have a shit ton of "curry mush" you can heat up later and its fairly good for you
>>
>>35180135

If you use a normal sized can of tuna, drop the flour and add another egg, otherwise they don't stay together. They taste good with a little bit of sweet chili sauce.

Broiling meat to brown it will dry it out, Emeril. Browning (not frying) your meat in a skillet concentrates flavors on the surface. The more you brown ground beef, the more fat cooks out of the meat. If you're not Browning your mince before you make chili you're a goddam moron and should stick to Hormel.
