Should us hungry skellies be counting calories? Or just eating as much as we fucking can? My diet is whatever they're serving in the dining halls until I can't eat a single bite anymore. Excluding dessert because I don't want that excess and completely unnecessary sugar/fat.

Almonds, cashews, pistachios, and walnuts. Most preferably almonds because of the protein and fibre, and they're tasty. Don't get any salted or flavoured ones - you want natural (organic, if possible) ones.

Aim to eat and apple and banana everyday. Also, if you can, add a sweet clementine/tangerine to that too. Feel free to get other fruit too, like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, etc., but only when you can manage to consume them all before they are no longer edible (for the sake of saving money).

Hummous and natural yogurts are also good, but they generally need consuming once you've bought them (unless you can store them in a fridge).

I used to be super conscious about calorie intake and am currently at a probably unhealthy weight (120 lbs 5'9)

However I'm know more worried about nutrient intake over calorie intake. Pic related is my current diet I've set up for myself, not pictured is probably around 80 - 120 calories of tuna and sometimes anywhere between 200 - 500 calories of dry roasted edamame. Usually this is close to what I eat in a day though, give or take more.

I don't even exercise (I used to but will probably start again in the new year) and I feel like I have a ton more energy than I did before, I also drink a shit ton of water to balance out the flax seed/chia seed soaking in the water weight in my body. Shitting has been excellent and it seems like I've lost more belly fat compared to scarfing the same amount of calories in processed foods. I probably won't ever switch from whole foods.

Fun fact: eating lots of complex carbs like whole grains and fibrous veggies and fruits can "increase" your metabolism, since they are harder to break down it requires more energy for your body to process

Unsaturated fats contain chemicals that help improve processes in the body. They even help with your neurological system and help signals be sent faster up and down. Unsaturated fats can be found in most nuts, whole grains, olive oil, and coconut oil among other things. This should take up 80 - 90% of your fat intake.

Saturated fats are also important in your diet, but should take up 10% or less of your total fat intake. This is stuff found in butter, fat milk, vegetable oil etc. Eating too much for your fat intake can cause heart problems down the road.

Trans fats should be avoided altogether and is the most unhealthy kind that can clog up arteries.

In total, eat healthy unsaturated fats everyday, and they won't make you fat, just help with your body systems.

Nah dude, you just have to want to work for it. I'm 6'3 and I was always skinny but when I stepped on the scale one day and saw I was at 139lbs I said no more. I still have a ways to go to get to my goal of 175 but I'm somewhere around 158lbs scale died so I'm not sure. Start working out and you'll become hungry.

Rate my dinner m8s. It is a result of time/healthiness/money optimization

Exercise regimen is constrained because of stress at school, but it consists of body weight exercises to get some basic strenght and agility after 3 years of only doing cardio and last year failing to do it often enough due to stress.

Also doing nofap, this addiction is stronger than I anticipated. Like I get sometimes overpowered by desire and start to stroke my dick when alone to pictures and videos online even if I don't want to.

Cold showers manage to yank me out of the frenzy but still this does not feel like a victory at all. But I gotta keep going at it.

But after 2 months of exercise, my stomach is no longer protruding, it is flat. I wish I wasn't so lonely sometimes.

It has two more sets for each exersise. That's about the only difference.

Read SS if only for form instructions and the theory behind moment arms and leverage and all that. It'll teach you about proper core bracing for all the lifts and where to hold/grip the bar in all the big compounds.

If you're not strong enough to use a barbell then try machines. It doesn't matter how much you can lift, but how much progress you can make and how much effort you put into it.

And most gym goers are dyel, so even on machines an untrained person can outlift them and not look out of place. When I look over, most people just choose half the weight I do and then do really fast half reps. Some women just do 3x10 chest press with 10lbs then walk off.

Me and my friend always do 15 reps with only the bar before we put weights on the barbell.
We proceed to add 10-12,5-15kg each side.
In the beginning we added 5-7,5-10kg but we'd never reach our current lift if we never started somewhere. Think about that. You can't get anywhere unless you start off somewhere.

Just know that most people in the gym are there for themselves and themselves only. If they see a skelly there, they'll probably just think "good for them for trying to better themselves"; that is, if they even notice you.

If you're just benching the bar, that's ok. Everyone kniws that everyone starts somewhere. If you need a spotter, ask the dude waiting to use the bench, because there'll usually always be someone waiting for the bench.

Just gotta build up the courage to go for the first time, and you'll feel better off. I also have social anxiety but after taking all of my courage to go to the gym alone, I felt better about going. There's no super douchebag motherfuckers that make fun of people like in the movies. Most, if not all people are extremely supportive and helpful (or just uncaring). We all go the gym for different reasons, but everyone has one common goal - to better themselves. And as long as you're not being an asshole yourself, you'll be fine.

Tuna is pretty good. A can is less then 100 calories and 20g of protien. Doesn't have to be refrigerated, and if you get the per-drained stuff, you can eat it anywhere.

I really liked frozen pizza's for a dirty bulk. ~1000 calories and ~60 g of protien for ~$3.
