Prob gonna be a stupid post but I need at least one person so say this isn't all retarded.

Do ya'll think health wise it's ok for a 5'2" female to restrict her diet to 1000 cals per day? Do you think I'd notice results in a month? Atm I eat 2,000-3,500 cals per day and weigh 135, so I think I'd obs. lose weight at 1,000 cals a day right?

It's temporary, after I finish school in a month and a half I'll have time to hit the gym but atm I have work and school and don't have time.

Tl;dr is 1,000 cals ok? And would I see any results in a month. TYTYTY.

My diet atm isn't the best, no fast food or sodas but a lot of high fat and carb stuff when I don't extercise.

I'd eat only fruits and veggies for the 1st month as I REALLY want to see a result.

No I don't think that's a good idea. My girlfriend is the same height as you and we calculated it and for her to lose enough weight to be considered perfectly healthy (not over weight not underweight) she'd have to reach a weight of around 135. So based on that I'm willing to guess you have no need to have that restrictive of a diet. But that's not exactly the answer to your question so I'll put it this way. Various health organizations say a female teenage or older shouldn't eat around less than 1300 Calories a day for an absolute minimum

2-3500 cals per day is a lot unless you're truly active a majority of the day, and at 135 lbs it sounds like you use to lose a good 10-15. id say go down to 1500, see how it works out for a month or so, and if you don't lose than lower your calories more

If you're eating 2000-3500 calories a day and not gaining weight, then eating 1200 a day will certainly make you lose weight. The results after one month probably won't be super dramatic. There's always a period of increased water retention after you start a diet, and in some cases that can still be going on at the end of a month.

I would suggest walking or running at your weight, you might see better results than a sheer scale number difference.

Also weightlifting, you're really short, you'd see gains very very quickly.

Aiming to lose weight super quickly is never a good idea. You ate yourself into a fat state, now you work your way backwards like you should.

Honestly? For a 5'2" girl you shouldn't be eating much over 1600 anyways. 1000 should be a fairly slow cut.

Your body can only metabolize so much fat; you'll start losing muscle if you drastically lower your calories like that. Its better to eat 1000-500 under your TDEE.

I don't exactly know what your goal body is but that small amount of calories will make you lose weight for sure. But you will probably achieve a skinny fat look and I personally from experience will never do that to myself again.

Lmao I laugh at your "study". In all seriousness though when I was cutting weight for wrestling all I ate was 10 to 12 carrots a day and 2 liters of water a day. The only negative was I had some mighty urges to eat and felt worn out while doing it. I would recommend only doing this 2or3 weeks tops due to your body size OP. I did it for 4 weeks without much issue other then the previous mentioned stuff but I had alot more mass 220 cut to 205. Just make sure not to gorge yourself when coming off it ease into a maintenance weight of about 1300-1500 cal a day
