-Learning to let stuff go, modularize and move on
-Hang out with positive people and be aware that depression causes a negative confirmation bias
-Find a thing that you care about more than anything else, that you feel completely in control of yourself around. This must not be a person, just a hobby. Push yourself here. Gym is good.
-Decide what you want, not a bunch of vauge things you don't want. Put that thing in a box, and never negotiate with what's inside, just push the box forward.

>Yoga, or even general stretching
>Trying to be mindful of everything you do, eg when you eat food, pay attention to the food instead of watching TV

May be just me, but I find dhamma talks by Ajahn Brahm really helpful

The great games. Pick Go or Chess or Backgammon/poker. Consider the questions you have to ask yourself when you play. Teaches you analysis and decision making.

Read classic philosophy (or just get the auible books if you're me). Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle. Teaches ethics, logic, and meaning. Seriously a lot of what they taught applies so much to today and everyone fucks up what they thought. My gf thought Plato liked democracy. After i explained what he really was about, she was forced to blow me.

Finally, read up on interacting with people and speaking. Anything by Dale Carnegie, even RSDbrad on youtube is excellent... not just for talking to chicks but talking to people period.

Stop watching porn constantly, clean up your diet, and stop smashing so many energy drinks. I switched to green tea and feel great. I realize now how i used to constantly feel on edge, although i didnt realize it at the time.

There you go.

Seeing as every piece of advice has been high tier fedora autism ill suggest something abit different. Join a team sport and get really good at it. Make your lifting about getting stronger/faster at your sport. Teaches you real life discipline not some katana weabo shit, forces you to become more adept socially and bond with other men, and gives you a sense of competitiveness that will take you far in life.

Novelty is neuroprotective. So is mastery.
Try new things and then do them for at least 10,000 hours.
