Grip is the thing.
You don't really have to hold her there. What gets her gushing in your eye is the ease with which you elevate her in the first place.
The difficulty being holding her without death gripping and putting your finger prints on her bones. Where to grip too. Under arms is easy, but hips is cooler.

You can totally get away with the Ol natty push press. Especially if she isn't a spinneroo.
