hey /fit/, is bread bad?
that's right let's have a bread thread
I cut it out because of the salt, and it's not a "whole" food. I thought it would be hard, but making a bigassed pot of white basmati rice at the beginning of the week and having a bowl of it plus PB plus a chicken breast is just as easy as bread.
Eat, live, and love simply my friends.
Ok queers let's save rhis threes and make it happn then
Shut the fuck up
You're god damn right
Dubs says bread is good, else bad. Trips means you have to eat a loaf of bread daily for a month for max gains.
Rollin bcuz I've failed 3 times and can't leave this thread a failure.
Rollin for bread/hero doggo
'Whole Grain' means the entire grain of the wheat is used. Refined grains generally have some part removed (in the case of wheat it's usually the bran). This usually results in fewer micronutrients being present as well as less fibre.
The whole 'bread is bad' thing is a meme from like late 2014 IIRC. There's nothing inherently unhealthy in either whole grain or refined bread.
Homemade bread made from flour + salt + yeast + water is fine
Industrially-made bread that needs 10 ingredients minimum to be in saleable condition is garbage
