What motivates me to lose weight? My retarded babyface. Trying to get down to 135lb. Anyone have this issue or am I cursed.
I've noticed that a lot of the people who have this kind of face in their 20's look a lot better compared to other people their age when they reach their 30's and 40's, so you'll have something to look forward to, I guess.
You're right, I really really should. Just never found a routine I could stick too. Did weight training as an obese (185lbs) person, back in my sophomore year of highschool. I went from 85 lb max on bench too 150 lbs in like 6 months of slight training, but I didnt get to reap the benefits because I was so fat. I feel like I "need" a trainer because I suck at finding a routine and motivating myself but I dont have the money for one.

just get a copy of Starting Strength.
modify the programme a bit.
like add in pullups.
basically do each exercise twice a week. then fill in any gaps in the routine with some accessory lift. like leg press, or something for shoulders, or arms. or whatever.
take something like strong lifts and some hypertrophy "aesthetics" routine, and smash them together.
have a heavy day and a hypertrophy day and an auxilliary day.
take all the exercises and balance them out over a two routine set up, where routine 1 has lifts abc heavy and xyz hypertrophic, then routine 2 has lifts xyz heavy and abc hypertrophic. then you throw whatever is left into auxiliary day, and switch up heavy/hypertrophy.
then you do routine 1 followed by routine 2.
lifts jkl and fgh can be whatever you feel is lacking from the main (abc+xyz) lifts in terms of whole body workout, or extra work to assist the main lifts. also do some cardio. maybe on aux days.
day 1.1 heavy a hyper x aux j
day 1.2 heavy b hyper y aux k
day 1.3 heavy c hyper z aux l
day 2.1 heavy x hyper a aux f
day 2.2 heavy y hyper b aux g
day 2.3 heavy z hyper c aux h
shit isn't difficult. just don't over do it. don't under do it. all depends on where you are at, and how much time you are willing to spend. and however many more variables you want to take into account.
suitably modified SS is a great starting programme. don't GOMAD.
most important thing is to do something. google beginner programmes. pick one. do it for 3 months. progressive overload. eat as clean as possible. hydrate. sleep. remember rest and recovery are important components of a good programme.
