Quick question, /fit/.
Do these curls build something BESIDES biceps? Is it worth doing them at all in my routine?
Asking because after 8 months I haven't seen much change doing them as opposed to doing something else.

Deltoid, Anterior
Trapezius, Upper
Trapezius, Middle
Levator Scapulae
Wrist Flexors
I do them because otherwise I look lanky and dyel. The only use I've found for them other than bigger arms is in opening windows that slide upward

>tfw can barely curl the bar
who no forearms here?
>>34503221
I know what it does, it's just not doing what it's supposed to.
>>34503227
This is what I need.
With how much weight do you guys do it?
I started with 30 kilos, now I'm nearing 60. 8 reps per set, 5 sets.
>>34503228
That's useful though.
>>34503255
>60kg BB curl for 5x8
Either you're strong as fuk, or your form is shit.

>dust covers everything
>someone lights a cigarette
>ashes make the dry paper catch on fire
>can't go down the stairs
>only way out is through the window
>years of nonuse, Window is stuck
>people trying to open the window
>not budging
>suddenly a curlbro runs up
>don't worry guys I got this
>lifts the window with ONE HAND with ease
>everyone gets out window
>building burns down shortly after
Sometimes curlbros are useful, fit.

It's 55kg. But I've worked on construction parallel to college for five years, they tend to make you work your arms.
>>34503297
This is exactly what I mean.

if curls are only hitting your biceps then your form sucks
stop swinging the weights you faggot
>>34503189
most people curl too heavy, and end up hip driving the damn thing, the come on /fit/ raging about still being lankatron after 9 years of lifting
for a change of pace, try one arm db hammer curls, and focus on keeping your body rigid so you can isolate your arm movements
