Depends on what you class as aesthetic.

But there's not much argument against saying that isolation exercises will make it a hell of a lot easier to work on muscle proportions that lend themselves to a typically aesthetic physique.
You aren't going to get impressive biceps only doing chin-ups.

Yeah, this. You could probably look pretty good doing just compounds for a long time. But adding isolations will make you look better in a shorter time, so there's no real reason not to do them.

Transitioning from traditional chinups, to one arm chinups will give you better arms than any isolation exercises.

OP what exactly do you consider aesthetic? Do you want massive biceps and small forearms? Because girls dig big veiny forearms (probably cause they resemble big veiny D). Pic is me, I've never done an isolation exercise. Biceps are 15.5" and forearms are 15" around.

Supermang looks more aesthetic tbh

Whats the better bicep exercise?

>60lb dumbbell curl

vs.
>200lb bw chin up
or
>2MFAO Plate, underhand pendlay row

Answer carefully.
>>
>>31907726
Bicep curls with the bars especially hit forearms pretty fierce m8
>>
>>31905676
>tfw right arm is so much bigger than my left

for no real reason too
>>
>>31907892
Curls will leave your arms barely able to move. Chin ups you can reach failure to the point where you can't even do 1 after a short rest to recompose and you still won't feel it as much. 21s cause so much burn it feels like the veins in your forearms are actually bursting and you look MAD vascular right through the arm directly afterwards.

This is my bicep and I haven't done curls since 2012. I exclusively do pullups, chinups, and rows for my biceps.

I am guaranteed at least one comment about how small my arms are in every CBT I have posted in, so no, you won't look aesthetic if you don't do curls.
>>
>>31907820
Strong diddylift though.
>>
>>31907916
Yeah I don't ever do forearm specific exercises, mine are just pretty big naturally. Always could slam everyone in arm wrestling competitions, even bros twice my size. I find that doing lots of pull exercises without using straps works my forearms enough. Deadlifts, shrugs, pendlay rows and 1 arm chinup negatives really destroy every fiber in your forearms.
>>31907968
My favorite exercise to work arms specifically is getting on the assisted pullup machine and doing one arm chinups with as little help as possible (like <10% body weight assistance)
