5'9, 84kgs started about 1 year ago at 62 kgs. Pretty annoyed with my progress since I spent 1 month physically incapable of eating and then the next month trying to overcome anxiety so I could eat when mh gf broke up with me. Did I do good /fit/?
Looks like you're getting there. The important thing is that you look better than you did before.
>potential bias here, you look like I do, 'cept I'm 6'3 and 93kg.
I think you're about 15% bf, cut and you'll looks beast
Have been lifting for 6 months now
172 cm (+/-5'8"), 67 kg (148 lbs)
Eating is hard
Started out as 130lb hungry skeleton two years ago. Actually got serious and consistent about lifting last year
Messed up on the screen shot
Also I'm around 7-8% bf
You look heavier, leg shot? Have you tried distending your stomach or is it more of a psychological thing?
Damn, you can afford to bulk lol, shame about your lower abs, but fuck what are you going to do about it anyway...
I can attest to this, I'm on the other side
If it's a change you can make it's probably worth trying, but if they're not there around 8% I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you
What's your diet like? I bet eating a surplus is even harder psychologically when every carb is going to visibly change your appearance
193cm, 93kg. cut down from 101kg
22 years old. What does /fit/ think?
Definitely no big legs, trying to work on that though. My legs are also unproportionally long (skinny?) compared to my body
I think the eating is more of a physical thing. What's distending? Stretching?
Figured you'd have smaller legs. You'll need even more work to even them out if they're proportionally longer
Distending is stretching, yes, by drinking a glass or 2 of water before every meal for example, anything to increase your food volume will do it really. Progressively overloading your plate :^)
All my fat is stored on my lower abs so I still see hope. I haven't really been counting my macros lately and have never meal planned. That was my New Years resolution to meal plan and start making some real gainz
I think you did good! Keep it up.
I've been working out consistently for about a year myself.
Damn man! How do you get that lean? Tips pls
I dunno man. Being tall ain't that great. For one, I have weak as fuck legs. 1RM on squat was 110kg, BEFORE the cut. Now it's like 90 for 3.
Also, the past 2 weeks I have been stuck at my current weight. getting weaker, and not loosing fat, feels bad man
6'2, 180 lbs. I sometimes wonder why I look so much skinnier than what I actually am. Hell, some people with my stats look kinda skinnyfat as well.
I also don't know my bf%
I'm naturally a dyel and even before I lifted I was 10% bf. I should start meal planning that's really what's key in keeping your bf low even while making gainz unless you want to bulk but even then you should be dieting. Also my workouts are high weight and high reps. The least amount of reps I hit in any set is 6. Like for example flat bench Im hitting lmao2pl8 for 10,8,8,6. High reps will get you cut but you won't gain mass as easily
You shouldn't be cutting yet. Get my fitness pal and set it to gain 1 lb a week or even maintain. If you're hitting the gym hard at least 5 times a weak you'll make some significant gainz
6'0 174 lbs. What should I improve? Shoulders and traps?
Why shouldn't I be cutting? Squat and bench are weak for me, deadlift was 180 before the cut, and OHP was 70. I don't really care about good lifts, I just want to look good. For me, that means loosing fat.
youre certainly eating enough dude, 62 to 84 kgs is a big difference. idk what your goals are but you've certainly gotten bigger.
good insertions and clear skin, bretty good
goes without saying when you start as a skeleton but good leanness, you've put on some muscle.
mirin if you like being a skinny prettyboy
at least you kinda have legs
slightly better than aight
do you lift weights?
impossible to tell from a picture like that, stand up straight and have someone take a picture of you / mirror shot
6'2" 182lbs. Working out 6 months. Started out 205 and lost 20 at basic.
yes sir, and im 5'10 so pretty much
lifting 4 months, do i look okay?
5'11 ~174lbs right now started 150lbs
Here's a slightly better pic. Does it look like I even lift?
Continuing to work towards ottermode, still dyel as fuck though :/
Just started on a new program, working my way up from my 10rm. Doesn't feel good yet, but I'll see improvement. I know it.
Do I still look ok, though?
Approximately 6'1" and 175lbs or something like that.
Currently strength training and bulking trying not be bulk into complete fatass territory
What mode am i, /fit/?
>inb4 something about my core
eh, idk man just keep trying to add as much muscle as you can without getting too fat. Don't be like me and get to 20% bodyfat and then be afraid to lose gains by cutting too hard. I think the best way to go about it would be to get to 185+ lbs fairly lean and then do a tiny cut. Either way it depends on how big you want to be. In my eyes you could probably continue your bulk until you hit 1 year lifting, just don't get too fat.
How 'bout your fucking hair.
Your body; it looks nice. Chicks will 'mire.
Your genes; flawless. Absolutely flawless.
Your hair? Jesus FUCK, man. What the FUCK do you think you're doing?
Get better underwear, man.
You're obviously pretty lean, so why the fuck are you getting baggy underwear?
Look, sorry if this sounds mean as fuck, but I really want you to take something away from this, and the thing I want you to take away from this is that you need underwear that's actually form fitting, man.
Get briefs if you need to.
5'9 @ 152lbs, 6 months of real lifting at the gym (plus 2 months in the beginning of retarded home routine). Started from skinnyfat 140lbs.
>tfw only 6 months of lifting
>still feel fat as fuck
what am i doing wrong fit ;_;
Left was on 10/21/14, right is today. Feels good to be getting rid of my beer gut and getting back in shape. I started in september at 5'8", 185lbs. Right now I'm at 163.
Had to boot up old laptop for before pic. So embarrassing, but hopefully its good motivation for some anons.
5'10'' 185lbs, chest isnt as developed as i would want from a broken collar bone i am being easy on. a month from now mammoth chest will come in.
>>30480895 why do you think i'm you??
But ok. I've always done an A/B split 4 days per week, 3 rest days. Note: this is my current routine, it's changed several times, especially chest routine. Once I started really focusing on upper chest I finally saw some growth there. Still lagging, but eh All compound lifts are 3x5, isolations 3x8-12.
A: Chest, Back, Bi's
B: Legs, Shoulders, Tri's
Incline bb bench
Cable flys (high)
Incline dumbell press
Lat Pulldown or Seated Row
Straight arm pull downs
Hammer-grip rope curls
Glute thrusts w/dumbell (for the lols mainly)
Rope pull down
Overhead rope extension
Tricep extension machine
Front DB raises
Laying DB rear delt raises
TDEE for me is ~2200. So when cutting I've gone as low at 1500/day, when dirty bulking as high as 3,000/day. Lean bulking @ 2600 now through April. Pic is results of my last cut at the end of November, probably about 10 or 11%. I miss that definition, but I needed to bring up my size, especially in the chest.
so far so good. Chest is really lacking though. Turns out I've been doing OHP wrong for the longest time which help explain why my bench has stalled so low.
Hoping to bulk again near the end of February and get juicy
Nooo, didn't dirty bulk for 6 months. I actually goofed and spent the first 2 months cutting because I thought all I wanted was dem abs. Ended up at 125 pounds looking like an emaciated runner with no mass. That's when I got into a real gym, dirty bulked for a few months, then cut down to the 2nd pic, and have been lean bulking since, currently at the first pic posted. I like the flow of bulking ~3 months, then cutting, then repeating the process. That's my plan for 2015. Might just try to leave humanity behind, idk.
