Soup /fit/
I am thinking of adding cardio in my routine; though I fucking hate cardio especially running.
However I like skipping rope cuz you can do it anywhere and shit.
Is skipping rope good? How would you recommend me fit into muh 3x a week SL/SS shit? After workouts or rest days and for how long?
Rest days probably work well enough
They seem to target the calves more than anything so they shouldn't interfere too much with your recovery
How about box bag? I don't like running.

Boxing is pretty good cardio, though you'll need a heavy bag for that

and you will also need some bands for your knuckles(?), they get pretty damaged hitting the sandbag

Jump rope on rest days at a high intensity for as long as possible.
Killer calf workout and its great for coordination and balance.

Is it enough for conditioning and working the lungs and shit? Some runnerfag friends told me its shit cardio and breaks knees lol. Damn
I really just want to focus on lifting and just do skip rope as my main cardio / conditioning

Got a heavy bag and yes hands get pretty damaged.
Just didn't knew if bag itself it's good cardio or should I do something more -again I hate running-.
Will do more bag on rest days then -currently just doing it every now and then, probably once a week-.

add skip rope; good shit

No it's fucking great for conditioning. I had really shit lung capacity because of my posture, and whenever I lifted it would feel like my heart was going to burst and my circulation was shitty.
Jumping rope just for 10 minutes at first fixed all of that. I've never had knee or ankle problems. Your friends are trying to fear monger you into being a running fag.

thx m8n, will do it

that runner was full of shit, skip rope is equal to or, potentially better than running depending on how skilled you are at it. there is a reason boxers skip rope every single fucking day
oh, and between sets, try incorporating some squats to maintain the intensity
Are burpees good cardio?
