I do mostly calisthenics, but I have no problem lifting heavy weights.

I would say, bodyweight exercises are superior to weights.

My friend uses this app that calculates total volume moved for the entire workout but I forget what it's called

i got that app NutraCheck. its free and has a shitload of foods already in the database which you can scan the barcode to pull up.

it will take your weight and height and how much you want to loose a week and give you a calorie amount that subtracts as you add food.

It also has many execises with calorie burn amounts

Is there anyway I can development a decent physique in prison?

Just from bodyweight exercises and a good diet. If so is there any recommended routines?

You will need to do a lot of heavy weight low rep for your glutes, hip thrust are good, alternate your weeks with heavy weight low rep and then light weight high reps to really make your rectum tight and toned.
Work the PC muscles everyday so when your being used you can suck them back into you, gives them much more grip.
Also do neck lifts, dont go heavy as you will injure yourself and then youll be no good to anyone, low low weight mid to high reps, do deadlifts and farmers walks for your hand grips so you can hang on tight 2 at a time.
Chewing gum, underrated for jaw work, as you are chewing make an o shape with your lips.
This is a routine everyone who is going inside to be practicing, good luck no need to thank me

I used to outright recommend bull grips over them but they've changed the design. Still better imo but also disappointing.

Why do we hate the smith machine?

I'm relatively new to lifting and what not. I've been doing a routine every day for a month and a half now and started noticing decreased gains. What should I change to have more noticeable growth? I do arms and chest one day shoulders and back the second day and legs the third. I take a pre workout and whey protein/ creative post workout. No days off
