I hear girls should wear weight lifting belts when doing squats and deadlifts and such to take the work away from the core and thus not thicken the waist. Is this true? These things are kind of expensive so I don't want to get one if it's not gonna do anything but if it does, that would be great, getting a square torso is a big fear for me

I've done what google tells me to do, but they keep coming back. Washing and double bagging clothes, searching for them, just about anything that pops up on google.
Bed Bug heat treatment is expensive as hell, but seems to be one of the few things that work. I live in a small two bedroom apartment. Any suggestions on a safe and cheap way to raise the temperature in the apartment high enough to kill all bedbugs? And if safe is asking too much, I'll just take cheap.

I did that, cleaned the apartment, and cleaned/dryed all clothes in the apartment, double bagging in the process.
I slept on the couch while saving up for a new mattress, and they reappeared.
I had 'em before when I was flatting in uni. We got pest control guy to put down some shit and also got new mattresses, sheets, pillows etc and drycleaned all our clothes. It was a fucking pain in the arse though.

It helped with mine - however you won't notice as much of a difference unless you do over-hand pull ups. Forces you to actually use your back muscles more than your biceps. Also, go all the way the fuck down and up. None of those pissy half-curl looking things. Only morons do these and brag about how many they can do.

What is the disparity between your high bar 1RM and your low bar 1RM?
I can high bar 175 lb, and I don't do squat-mornings but I'd guess around 320 lb.
i think youre underestimating the difficulty of lowbar squats (srs), i started front squatting seriously 2 weeks ago and ive hit 175 for 1, and backsquat 255 for 5 which is about 285 1rm. granted front squats and high bar arent exactly the same, the difficulty and muscle activation are similar.
totally depends on anthropometry, specifically femur and torso length. The shorter your torso, the more you benefit from low bar relative to high bar. A lot of guys with short legs won't get much at all out of the position because their torsos are longer and lengthen the moment arm
