I'm sorry if that the wrong thread i'm posting in.

So I became obsessed with wrist exercises since my hand is awfully skinny, I've been doing them now for almost 3 months.
Also I have a hobby - I play the bass guitar almost every day.

So here's the deal - about a month after I began doing wrist exercises, i noticed that it became harder for me to perform some techniques on bass, nothing hurts really, just feels kinda uncomfortable. Could there be any connection?

Can you really play the bass guitar solo?
>>

Not really, I usually play rhythm based lines. It's also now hard to use slap.
>>
>>35041386
You simply need to practice more, also warmup exercises

What's so good about deadlifts?
Should I try them?

>what's so good about deadlifts?
Nothing. They're a vanity meme exercise that is awful for building muscle and will damage your back. Only do them if you enjoy calling upon your body to unleash lethal amounts of force as one kinetic chain.
>>
>>35041298
>kinetic chain
lmao

Deads if done properly strengthen the shit out of your back

You obviously have poor form or were out lifted by a girl

If you seek a man whose goal in life is vanity muscles, seek him elsewhere. I for one have more practical goals in mind. Did you know that I can lift 500 pounds from the ground to my waist, and set it back down? Of course not, because I concern myself not with sculpting a physique, but with training my body to exert lethal amounts of force as one kinetic chain.

from last thread:
How much will peaking for this comp affect peaking for Rio? Grand Prix is over, so after Worlds the next real test will be the olympics, but it's more than half a year away. Yet a couple people have said that preparing for this would throw off some lifters next olympics if they could instead spend the peaking cycle doing more training. Which makes sense, but why pass up a shot at a medal?

How come I run without any problems on a treadmill but outside I struggle to reach my goal? I can't even run without stopping outside, need to take a walking break like 5 to 10 times. But on the treadmill I run without problems and could even go faster to reach my goal.

Thanks for the advice

>>
Because on a treadmill you are only working to keep yourself in-place whereas out in the open you must work harder to push forward. Plus, a treadmill, being flat and textured gives you more grip and all that

But what would I know I'm just a kid
>>
>>35041134
Short answer: Treadmills are easier

On a treadmill elevation doesn't change as much, plus you get constant feedback on speed etc. Also, I may be wrong here, but I feel in treadmills that less forward force is required so it makes running seem easier.
>>
>>35041134
The ground moves for you on a treadmill. You have to push harder off of the ground outside to push yourself forward. When running on a treadmill run at a 2% incline. This will simulate the energy you need to run on stationary ground.

Why do all lifters talk about "PRs" and shit like if it was such a great achievement in lifting. Lifting is not difficult at all. All you have to do is continue lifting and eating right to PR. Sure you'll reach a point one day where you just can't lift more weight but that's the human limit. (Ex. 1000lbs) Even if you do reach that point what use is being able to say bench that much.

Running a mile even if its just 10sec faster than last time is a true PR. Because it can take a months worth of training just for a 5sec increase. Or finishing a triathlon at a faster time. Getting a faster lap time on the track in a time attack even. Actions that actually require true skill!

i'll give you a 1.5/10. that's the best i can do, that's all you deserve.

>have bf

>end up sustaining ~110bpm when my resting is 63
>am always super sweaty by the end
>he never breathes hard or sweats through the entire thing ever

How do I make him sweat, /fit/? I mean I know that he's more fit than me, being that his resting bpm is 56 and he can lift so much more than me. And he obviously enjoys the activity, but I feel that he would enjoy it more if it were physically strenuous for him? And it obviously isn't for him. So but if it's not cardio for him then it's something wrong with what I'm doing, right? And it feels that way, too. I mean I find it extremely difficult to do much of anything except static contractions during sex, and that's unfair to him I think. So how to engage him during sex? How to make him sweat?

Steroids increase your probability of having several mental disorders. Does anyone have any emotional experiences dating a non-natty chick?
18 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
I haven't ever heard from female competitors, what emotional turmoil do you go through?
>>
I don't know but I want to smash one.
>>
>>35040376
I'm gesticulating, but I think it can just bring about latent disorders or exacerbate and grow pre-existing ones.

For example, the level of body-dismorphia or general dissatisfaction with one's self that is necessary for a woman to want to go non-natty will often be high. It's like how heavily tattooed chicks tend to be a bit crazy. It's not 100%, but its something strong like, 75%.

What's more important for boxing? Deadlift or squats?

squats, more explosive power, though deadlifts are still very practical for things like grappling and other pulling movements
