What is a good three day workout/full body split for an intermediate lifter?

I have to give up a four day split due to exams, but I will go back to it after the exams.

Texas method. So basically volume, light and intensity day. You can mix it up to your needs. Like do 5x5 squats on volume day, 2x5 with 90% of volume days weight on recovery day, and go for 3RM, 5RM, 8RM or something like that on intensity day.

Signed up for my first gym at 31yo at the start of this month.

Was scared to go, felt out of place, out of my depth, not strong or fit enough and like I was going to be stared at. Pushed through it and went anyway

Couldn't get through more than a couple reps of 10kg bicep curls, felt way too weak to be there with the meatheads, felt out of place. Posted on /fit/ and got laughed at. Pushed through it and went anyway

Couldn't be bothered to go to the gym through the second week because it was cold, wet and raining. Didn't see the benefits as opposed to working out at home. Pushed through it and went anyway

This morning I woke up at 4am, had some coffee, put on some trainers and got there for 5am. I was the first person in the gym and I just got into a workout and tried some other machines. Felt really fucking awake and happy to be there, felt at ease and in place and I just ran back through the empty streets before the town woke up feeling on top of the world, like I'd returned to the land of the living. I'm starting to realize that I may've been mildly depressed for the last 20+ years of my life and with my new diet and early start and now a workout routine I feel like I'm never going back and slowly getting better.
If you don't like something, keep not liking it for a while, it might turn out to be one of the most enjoyable things you've ever found

no running until you lose a shit load of weight. protect your knees and other joints. Losing weight is all about diet. read the sticky on how to do that effectively.

for exercise use elliptical or bike, even walking is gonna fuck up your joints at 350.

A few questions, as I'm working on losing weight. I'll preface this by saying i've read the damn sticky, got it bookmarked and I'm following it, mostly using the Couch to 5k, looking to get into a gym soon so lift.

I'm 6"1', and weigh in at 95-100kg. I'm a fat fuck. Is this place really only for dudes that are either bulking, or lifting hardcore, or do you guys accept fat cunts that accept they're fat and try to change it? I've started to turn my diet around, I still eat chips and junk food somewhat, but I'm swapping out the really shitty food for ham and salad sandwhiches and eating proper dinners like beef curry with rice, spicy beef strips with salad and some other things like that.

A second question, is probably something that you guys argue over a lot. Cardio, or weights? Which one will give me more weight loss? I've been doing cardio for the last 3 days and noticing some improvements, doubling my performance each day, but I'm wondering if getting in and lifting wouldn't both feel better and work better.

Third, what do you guys do post workout to soothe that ache that you get when you work to the max? I get a real bad ache, not really pain just real big soreness in my calves and thighs.

I guess I'm just a fat cunt trying to be not-fat. when I was 18 I was in my fucking prime. I was 6", had little to no fat, weighed in at 75kg. Any advice outside the sticky?

This is an anonymous imageboard, no one can stop you from coming here nor can we know what you are in reality. But yes, fatties looking for a change are generally well recieved here.

Neither. The most important part of weightloss is your diet. Any kind of exercise will help you burn excess calories but you should concentrate more on what you put in your body rather than how to get in out. But if you want to put on some muscle then lifting is the way to go.

What you are experiencing is known as DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). It gets better with time and you'll learn to kinda enjoy it at some point. Streching and foamrolling helps, possibly light cardio like jogging too. If you're experiencing muscle cramps then supplementing magnesium might help.

When you start lifting, concentrate primarily on pefecting your form rather than increasing weight. Unless you have a friend who's an experienced lifter, look up lots of different how-to videos on youtube. Alan Thrall has some good beginner guides for all of the basic exercises in both Starting Strength and Stronglifts 5x5. Look them through with thought.

If you have questions, we have the QTDDTOT-threads where you can get decent answers to most of you questions. Google is your friend too.

If you work out enough you wont get sore like that anymore.

My advice outside the sticky is do not be afraid of PEDs. Take DNP and you'll be a slim attractive normal man before you know it.
Take test once you're slim and get that masculine frame with good muscle quality.
The best transformations were obtained with drugs. Being natural is overrated.

May to September of this year, I refrained from ejaculating to porn. I did have some tempting times, but I overcame them all. For 5 months, that's almost 150 days, I was almost completely porn free. That was the happiest, freest, and most euphoric experience of my life. My mind was always feeling good, and I discovered so much about the world, history, philosophy, lifting, etc.

Then, uni came along. The social stigma, as always, was horrible. The workload was often stressful. I was becoming very demotivated in many areas of life. One day, I decided it would be alright to fap just to let off some steam. I mean, I deserve some reward for 5 months right?

Fucking worst mistake of my life. I have not been able to resists porn and fapping for more than 3 weeks since then. It's horrible. And of course, I have very few girls who can distract me from my urge to fap.

Basically, I come to /fit/ with a question: How can I get my life back together and emancipate myself from the sinful, disgusting creation that is 'porn', without relapsing consistently?

I just started playing a new Dark Souls character. My only weapons are leather studded fist wraps, no shield.
Every time I die, level up, or beat a boss, I rotate between doing as many push ups, sit ups, and various leg exercises as I can.
