If I can't hit my target I just keep on doing reps and lowering the weight until I reach the goal.

I would recommend Mauy Thai (striking) and BJJ (grappling). They're relatively advanced martial arts however, prepare to work your ass off.
Judo is more of a sport than than a self defence system, and boxing is like muay thai without the knees and elbows.
