No actually Rowing and cycling are the two forms of cardio that are least likely to interfere with weightlifting because the muscle used are more similar to lifting weights. As opposed to running which uses almost none.

Or so the studies I read said.

Transfag, fatfag, and fitness noob here. I'm planning on starting HRT Next winter (a year from now). I'm 6'3" and weigh 260 lbs. I'd like to get down to 230, which I know is a pretty hard goal, but fuck it. The problem is lifting weights and such isn't exactly a viable option because I don't want to gain a lot of muscle mass if I'm trying to pass as female. So what are my options? Running and diet? What other kind of things can I do to lose weight without gaining a lot of muscle?

just eat a caloric deficit and do some light cardio

If it isn't a problem and you got the time and money to waste on it, by all means go ahead - it won't impact your gains, but it's going to be a shit to try to keep. I've (reluctantly) tried myself.

At what point do I start really harming my liver and organs when drinking alcohol?

Yesterday I drank half a bottle of Old Parr with red bull and drank a fuckton of beers.

Today I'm drinking 3 german beers, roughly 80ml of alcohol.

I'm 21, went from not drinking at all at 20 to binge drinking twice a month at 21.

I try eating fruits everyday and I take milk thistle pills everyday.

First off why are you posting on /fit/ we are gym rsts not doctors. Also we tend to do things to the extreme.

Ahen i turned 21 i drank pretty much every day for a year. Ended up getting my 9/10gf pregnant. Quit drinking immediately, went from 190lbs to 155lbs skelly mode, working my ass off at a gas station to provide for her.

She realized since shes a 9/10 she can easily get a good looking guy that makes twice as much as i do. She left me, made her fb private and i havent heard from her since. She left me in the first trimester.

Once it becsmr obvious she wasnt coming back i started drinking again. HEAVILY. about a third of a gallon of scotch whiskey per day. Starting in the morning on until the evening. I got an IT job that didnt know or care that i was drunk.

I went from 155 to 245. Ill be a buttfucked nigger if i wasnt somehow at my strongest at that weight.

Anyway, somehow i didnt kill myself, even though i wanted to for a year. Missed out on everything for my first born son. My liver started hurting from drinking so i started cutting back.

Met another 9/10 slut and started over last year. She is literally autistic, suicidal and a heroin addict. She called me fat the first day we met and ive been perfecting my body ever since then, to prove her wrong or something. She fucked me when i was fst though so i give her props for that

Just curious when I should start looking physically better and actually being stronger.

I started just skinny as fuck... 6'2" 140 lbs... no muscle very little fat.. so I've been building up from nothing. But now after 8 weeks, I look like the pictures week 1. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I've been eating very healthy, cut all junk foods, have whey protein shake every day. I feel stronger in some aspects at the gym, but for instance I'm still struggling when I bench like 85 lbs, and it makes me feel pathetic. Should I be way more fit after 2 months? Or is it normal for me to be where I'm at?

Hello /fit/ - long time no see. Just checking in to see if people here were still interested in a New Years comic from the forums favorite* pudgy, no-gains-making, mediocre artist. If you had any choice memes from this year you wanted me to shoehorn into the comic, this would be the place to let me know.

Though in the interest of keeping this fitness related - I had a longstanding issue with joint pain in my right knee stopping me from getting any heavier with squats. After I backed off doing heavy weights, I lost my strength but the issues mitigated. It was only the right knee, and presented itself as stiffness and clicking/popping whenever I extended it completely or put weight on it after sitting for a while. I thought it may have something to do with poor posture caused by tightness in the red areas indicated in the pic, or perhaps by an imbalance from when I fucked up my right ankle as a kid.

Though it perplexes me, I thank you all for your support. Hopefully I can make you proud in 2016.
