Aight /fit/ it's time for you all to decide if I recomp or cut. I started out skinnyfat and bulked cause that seemed to be the prevailing opinion. I'm not 5'11 178lb and maybe around 25%BF. I want to start losing the fat but I realize if I cut I'm still cutting to hungry skele, maybe the bottom of otter if I'm lucky.
My lifts aren't anything amazing, so I'm hesitant to go into a big cut and not gain any muscle. Have any of you had luck doing a recomp for say like 6 months? I'm looking to maybe look good by Juneish. I know I could just cut but I still wanna make as much progress gaining muscle and strength.
So. Anyone recomp? Is it even worth it?

I just drank a lot of coffee and started working out in a home gym (2 8lbs free weights, upgraded to 2 15lbs ones after Christmas).
Lost 80 pounds since February last year. First time not being obese or overweight in years.
My tip is this: buy a food scale and use it. I guarantee portion sizes are smaller than you think

Now I need a new diet with a fuckload of proteins. Problem is, my main sources are tuna (fuckload of mercury in your system if you eat it everyday, and I'm currently at 140g a day), and eggs (yolk fucks you up on the long term too, I'm at 4 a day).
