I usually don't do squats due to my knees been all stiff and locked. It kinda hurts my knees. Is this physiological or do I just need to squat more frequently.

My squat is really low compared to my other lifts

Just finished reading the sticky, maybe I skimmed over it but from a physiological standpoint why is a routine that focuses purely on compound movements promoted for a beginner, over say a routine that places emphasis on both compounds and isolation, which seem to be reserved mostly for intermediate and advanced lifters.

A friend who has been training for 10 years showed me the routine in the attached image and said it would be ideal for a beginner since it has compounds mixed in with isolation movements.

Anyone care to weigh in on this.

I have a decent home gym setup in my room and sometimes i wait 5-10 min between sets usually because I get distracted by something.

Check your expectations, develop personal discipline and true mental toughness, and lift 'smarter', not harder. You see, fatbros, these people will hate us no matter what. this picture proves it. But not only that, they hate us more than anything.
Someone could be rude or spit in their face and they will still hate us more.
Someone could destroy their property or assualt them and they will still hate us more.
Someone could rape their loved ones or go on a killing spree and they will still hate us more.

We could be kind and helpful to them and they will still hate us. And if we were to succeed in getting fit after however long it takes they will still hate us to the bitter end if they ever found out we were fat at some point.

But we are all going to die at some point and the only thing we can do until we meet our fate is try to be as happy as possible. If you believe that getting fit will help you be happier then by all means go for it, but if it doesn't would you continue just to keep up the facade for those that despise you?

I've tried many times to reach my goal but after a few weeks I remember that I have no reason to continue. Why waste 2-3 hours of my day working towards a goal that would satisfy no-one. I will have used up my time and still be slowly moving towards my death and the "fatty-haters" will still hate me, no matter how fit I get.

Bros, maybe you shouldn't try to get fit, because they're still going to call us names, and put us down for ever having breathed the same air as them. Just try to be happy, because one day they'll be dust too.

So there are a bunch of fat autists who play video games all day, do no working out, they don't work and are generally just a waste of life. I often find myself feeling bad for them and wanting to say something to help, but then I come across people like pic related.

This cunt has such a defeatist attitude and has been whining for years on end about his weight loss journey and making no progress. He constantly has excuses and gives plenty of passive aggressive comments that still manage to make him "seem" like a nice guy when all he does is encourage being fat.

I used to be a bit of an autist and never worked out and I was able to get in shape, I'm fine socially and can manage a 9 to 5 job with no issue rather than beg for money on YouTube. Anybody else hate shit like this? Hate people like this?

It seems like everyone's afraid of losing their hard earned muscle during a cut but I've never heard a figure as to how much muscle you actually lose assuming you lift heavy.

As long as you aren't doing some retarded starvation diet do you actually lose significant amounts of muscle while cutting fat?

Is there any reason for me not to just go into a 1000 calorie deficit and finish my cut in like 6-8 weeks instead of taking 4 months?

Over a longish period of time a smaller deficit leads to retaining more muscle all other things being roughly equal. You also see diminishing returns over time so it makes more sense to cut for a few weeks/couple of months then change up for a bit and go back to cutting.

In my own personal experience a water fast for a few days is no biggy either. I would recommend ~200 to 300 kcal of gruel or soup a day or every other day tho and not going for longer than about 5 days. The small amount of food doesn't really change the biological response but keeps your GI system ticking over a bit and gives you some minerals and vitamins and all that. Good way to kick start a keto diet too.
