LGD is a SARM that is a PED.
SARMs are selective androgen receptor modulators.

Has anybody here used them? If so, what were your stats and what results did you get?

Gained 9lbs on ostarine, no bloat. Similar to a prohormone in results. Nothing great and nothing bad.
>>
>>35490021
i've never tried them but how can you take something that is so new and untested? id rather take test because its effects and side-effects and well known. there are SARMs that have side effects that fuck up your vision, for example.
>>
>>35490128

They're new but there's enough known about them that they don't pose a real risk to one's health or hormonal panel.

If you look at the studies done on SARMs, the most significant risk is lowering HDL.

Which SARMs impair vision..?

Didn't see one
I got no sleep and I'm wondering if I could eat without gaining a pound. All I ate yesterday was 12 Oz of skinless chicken thigh, 190 calories worth of baby carrots, a small green apple, and 2 20 Oz cups of coffee with creamer.
I'm trying to fix my sleep schedule.

Who do you guys go to to check form?

I've been lifting for about a month but i get this continuous pain in my groin, I think my form's off

Should I ask a PT or just another lifter using barbells?
>>

Record yourself lifting amd compare it to videos on youtube
>>
>>35485748
Watch lots of youtube videos, then try video taping yourself in the same kinds of angles.
Do not ask 99% of PT's. They don't know the difference between a pec deck machine and a bench press.

If your game sucks then show up later. Make sure you're a bit drunk but not stupidly so, when the place is about to close is when women are most desperate, most of the attractive/self respecting women have left and you can pick off the stragglers.

Every article or comment I read about losing weight always mentioned tracking calories as the most important part.

I'm trying to knock off some fat myself and I find it hard tracking the exact number of calories because of the different homemade recipes of chicken or vegetables I consume of whose macros are always inconsistent .

I'm 23, 6', 85kg and some 22% bf. How about I just eat healthy, roughly around my TDEE?
93 posts and 10 images submitted.
>>
it's not necessary, but if you're fat you're probably not good at estimating calories
>>
It was necessary for me. I didn't look at it like counting cals. Instead, it was more like a budget of how much food I can eat each day. I could enter in the food and see how many cals/macros I had remaining in the day. This also allows me to have sweets here and there if my remaining cals/fat/sugar/carbs allowed. You end up guessing a lot but after a while you get better at estimating.
>>
>>35480539
How will you know if you are eating at roughly your TDEE?

The numbers don;t need to be exact, it isn't difficult to measure the individual ingredients of a recipe then add them to a calorie tracker like myfitnesspal or cron-o-meter.

How do I prevent pic related from happening again? I'm so fucking sick of failing deadlifts because I can't hold on to the bar. (Yes, I'm already using chalk, my forearms are just that weak.)
108 posts and 6 images submitted.
>>
Some will say add straps, which will help the deadlift. If you want your forearms to grow then lower the deadlift weight & use proper grip form (pic related is not "proper")
>>
Was this a one rep max attempt?

If so, don't work your max deadlift too often, you'll burn yourself out, what helped me is during my working sets, on the last rep of my last set, I would just hold the weight for as long as possible. I've held 5plates in my hands for at least 10-15 seconds. Shit will burn and hurt but it will help.

The only way to get better at deadlifts (including grip) is to do more deadlifts.

>squat max test edition

Decided to break up my max testing into separate days this week, as I'm not competing for quite some time and it'd be better for seeing what my actual maxes are for the upcoming training cycle. So, here was squat day.

No commentary this time, mostly because I wanted to play with sound effects again. Probably gonna have a commentary on the next episode, which will be testing out my bench max.

Listen, I have an honest question, please don't deride this into a simple matter of vegan vs. non-vegan mudslinging. I would like for this conversation to be as objective as possible.

Now, here is my question. Most people in medicine agree that we should avoid saturated fats and trans fats. In fact, so much so, in the case of trans fats, that the recommended daily allowance for trans-fats is 0g per day.

We know that most saturated fats come from animal products, and that trans fats come from either animal products or partially hydrogenated oils and junk foods. So, wouldn't it be a wise recommendation to avoid animal products for health reasons?

Again, I am not trying to start a flame war or anything. I just want some good scientific answers because nutritional information seems to be shrouded in misinformation. I would love to argue that meat is healthy, I mean in the case of fish, it obviously is because of the OMEGA-3s, but even chicken to some extent has trans and saturated fats. Ideally, should we only be consuming fish as our main source of protein?

It says something of the zeal of internet vegans that even on an obscure, bankrupt Transnistrian crock-pot and watercolor painting forum, that the notion of vegan vs non-vegan could even be a thing.
>>
I didn't read all your faggot post. But Trans fat should be 0. A half gram a day (which can be acquired from milk and eggs and shit) is going to do nothing. Grams of it is different.

Saturated fat is harmless in moderation and in the context of a healthy individual (eating veggies, exercising, is lean, etc). Maybe 1/3 of total fat intake as saturatrd fat is more than acceptable.

Also realize that only like half, not even, of fat in meat is saturated. Probably the best source of sat fat is some specific oils from plants (coconut, palm oil, etc) and fatty dairy products. The amount of saturated fat in meat is definitely overstated.
>>
>>35487315
>Most people in medicine agree that we should avoid saturated fats and trans fats.

That's not true - you're already wrong Anon. You did not evolve getting fat only from Avocados and nuts.

Look, if you want to eat vegan then eat vegan. If you only want to eat fish then only eat fish. I choose to eat what I want... Will you allow me that freedom if I allow you the same freedom?

Rowing is great, it is the activity with which you can supply the most energyif you where to connect a generator, and while most cardio most you weak and skeleton, rowing makes you strong and manly, only downside is that it trains unbalanced, train your abs pecs and triceps to make it for it

Oh intermittent fasting.

Yes and no. If you want to get fatter eat a lot of food and don't exercise. If you want to gain muscle mass exercise using weight training and eating. There is no secret code to anything or method that works inherently better than another method.

The best method is whichever one you feel more comfortable doing or whatever motivates you the most.

I've been lifting now for merely 3 months, but man, this boring work day plus the fact that the girl i thought i loved is being fucked by some other guy right now isn't giving me the "fuck it" attitude i'd love to have and continue working out.

I know it seems bleak. The girl I thought I'd spend the rest of my life with left me. Said she didn't love me and wasn't attracted to me anymore. Almost killed myself a few times. Decided if I was going to change I had to make it happen. Started with body weight moved to lifting. I'm bulked with a big beard now. I still feel suicidal but when I lift it all goes away. You're only 3 months in. Stick with it, it will get better as you get better
