Alright /fit/ I did my first day in the gym today, I was lifting for 60 minutes. I'm doing compound shit. But I think I got DOMS

What the fuck do I do about DOMS? My chest, shoulders, arms (lower and upper) hurt, and even my back. I gotta hit the gym tomorrow but this shit hurts so bad. What do I do?

Am i making decent progress?

Been lifting for a solid year now.

Started at 130 lbs 5'7 19m

Now at 153 lbs 5'7 20m

Max bench 215, max ohp 155, max squat 215, deadlift 297x3 (converted from olympic weights in kg)

I try to hit my macros of 170g protein, 430 carbs, and 115g fat totalling to 3440 calories a day. Im not too consistent and i also run in the mornings because of my job.

Ive ditched the 10-12 rep scheme and been sticking with 4-8 on all my compound lifts.

Im still trying to bulk but have an appetite problem. My end goal is 170 lbs 6-7% bodyfat being as strong as i can while still beig natty. How long should i bulk for? How heavy should i get until I start cutting?

People will pay for anything that they think will make getting fit easier.

Protein powder isn't a necessity, you can get enough protein in your diet normally.
All you're doing is paying elevated prices for a cheese by product that is worth fuck all.

Creatine is just as good, if not better, if you buy the cheapest brand you can, rather than fancy label shit.

Well you fucked up by shopping at gnc... Literally any where else is cheaper, shit even Popeyes is usually cheaper.

Costco is pretty GOAT for protein other then that your better off purchasing online, also stick to creative monohydrate. It's the cheapest and only proven form to work, everything else is marketing

An entire youth in front of a computer basically killed me while leaving me alive.

We're talking about kyphosis, forward head, rolled shoulders, caveman look, the whole fucking catalogue in one single package. Not the light version, we're talking shoulders doing the angel wings and golem look here.

Make a mental note and force correct posture whenever you think about posture. It will take a while but do it everywhere and with time you will be fine.
