How does /fit/ balance out going out and socializing and lifting? Anyone here who goes out and gets fucked up on the reg and still has good lifts/body?

I normally can keep in under control and make good progress but it's hard to balance out having fun with making consistent gains. Any tips?

I know that feel bro. In college I would drink at least once a week but usually 2-3 times total. I still made decent gains but the drinking and drugs held me back from my full potential. Now I keep my drinking to one night a week and every 3 weeks I will have a long bender. You just have to force yourself to cut back. Any night you aren't lifting you should be getting 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep and eating properly

CKD (carb refeed) is only useful if you are a very experienced lifter (i.e. can deplete your glycogen stores between the weekly refeeds)
