Yeah it's mostly a genetic thing, and also has to do with activities during puberty. I doubt you will be able to really look like that, and that's all the advice I can give because I'm a n00b when it comes to lifting.

OP you must mention that health authorities found steroids to be pretty safe, but their advice was ignored due to the USA's desire to be seen as a clean nation in national and international sports.

The practical outcome is athletes still dope and find ways around getting caught, and regular joes are getting locked up for wanting to improve their look.

I live for a good smoke. The day I quit will be the day I die, and it doesn't bother me one bit. There are two rules I have though.

1) lots of cardio. I know it doesn't "balance out" the smoking, but it does make you feel good. no cardio + smoking = brutal mornings and general shitty feelings

2) manage cravings. this is more a series of rules like no smoking in the car, or only one in the morning. the biggest is with others never say "gotta go smoke, be back", that kind of compulsion is extremely unattractive. however, waiting until the right time and being caught "oh anon I didnt know you smoked" makes panties fall like the Berlin Wall.

i only average about a pack per week, mostly smoking when i'm out at the bar. if i notice that smoking becomes a compulsion or craving then i'll force myself to cut back. i stopped taking 'em to work with me a few months ago and don't even miss it. i like a cigar from time to time too.

i don't expect i'll ever quit completely, but maintaining moderation is important to me.

/fit/, how do I undo 8 years' worth of damage to my skin?

tl;dr: took very hot showers since middle school, skin starts getting itchy whenever I do anything exercise related. Are there any products that can help me?

I was a complete dumbass and had no idea that hot showers were bad for my skin. I thought they steamed your skin and made the pores open up or something retarded like that.

The way I've been taking showers since the 6th grade was pic related: turn around, let the steaming hot water hit my back and scalp for like 15 minutes, and then get out of the shower.

I was never physically active because any time I tried to do anything physical, my back and scalp would start itching like crazy and I would have to stop. But now I know why, and it's fucking dry skin because I'm a retard and can't even take a shower right. But now, I've actually decided to get in shape, and it's going okay so far, but whenever I get in the zone on the track and start running, I have to stop because it itches so bad and I don't want to look like a retard scratching my back and head like crazy while I'm running.

Any type of cardio will set the itch off, but I can still do weight lifting activities like bench, squat, etc. Obviously the cardio will be necessary when I start cutting.

Is there anything I can do to remedy this, /fit/? What products should I look at?

I've tried, anon. I'm weak. I accept that. It's impossible for me, the itchy sensation is more intense than anything I've felt before, and there was a time where I had poison sumac on like 60% of my body. It's worse than that.

Why are my squats so weak? Is it because I'm fat? Does it greatly influence how strong my squats are?
I deadlift 90kg (200-something lbs for americunts) with perfect form, yet I can BARELY do 40 kg squats. Barely, no ass to grass. I just barely do them, but usually I go 30 kg for a perfect, full squat.
I feel like my technique is somewhat not good because I can feel the heavy strain on my quads and can't "activate" my glutes so to speak.
