Was drinking beers fairly consistently throughout the week because it's summer and I don't have AC, however I just started getting /fit/ again starting this month and have cut back drastically. Only drink like once a week when goofing off with friends, usually just a bunch of beers. It's really taking its toll on me now though at age 33 and I just end up pissing and shitting like the entire following day so I'd like to cut back even more or maybe switch to just whiskey or something

I'm bulking, tracking my macros through MyFitnessPal and I've noticed a lot of the times while I hit my calories and protein and fats ( sometimes over how much I should ), I almost always go low when it comes to carbs, and I don't know what to do.

How does that affect me? Also, how do I plan my meals better so I hit all my macros correctly?

Otherwise, make sure you're running a 300 on your PFT (I'm only familiar with the Marine PFT) and you'll be good physically, mentally is entirely on you. Most guys don't drop because they can't hack it physically, they break mentally. Also know how to swim, if those numbers you posted are yours, you look to be damn close to a perfect candidate. If that's what you're saying you need to get to, we'd need to know where you're at, clarify please.

Remember that the "s" is BUD/s means "school". They'll teach you and get you into the shape you need to be if you're mentally tough enough and of upper 25% in terms of seaman fitness to be a SEAL/DEVGRU
