I fucked up this week, I actually gained weight. I went a bit overboard when I had some dinner with friends, and the guilt led me to eating donuts later in the day. I tried to make up for it the next day by working out harder than I ever have but it obviously didn't affect much. Oh well, I'll try not to be a weak bitch next week and actually make my goal.

I never understood this. Wouldn't the guilt make you SKIP the next meal, not just yolo MORE donuts to make you feel even more guilty?

Also tracking weight on a daily basis and taking it at face value is pretty silly. You need to track it for a month or two and look at the trend

I have gone since January 20th without losing any weight. I'm disappointed in myself. I'm going to switch universities over the summer, so I figure if I start losing 1.5 lb every week until June, and then 2 lbs a week until August, I'll lose 28 lbs and get down to "skinny guy" mode.

Is it worth looking at Rippetoe's Advanced Novice program if I (just about) qualify as intermediate on the strength standards site?

Or should I just eat more?

I'm only about 5/6 (somewhere over a month) weeks into SS, but my Squat is becoming a hassle.

Aight, so maybe theres any medfag here who can help me. I'm 18 years old, 5'6" tall and I weigh around 60 Kg.

Since a couple days I'm having pain in the left side of my chest, at first I thought it might be my heart but yesterday my entire chest hurt af. I noticed that it becomes worse after I smoke. I'm not really sure if its my heart or my lungs. Right now it only hurts on the left side of my chest, it feels like someone is punching me right in the ribs. Sometimes it even feels like I'm having a mini heart attack.

I'm living really unhealthy, I barely move but I never had any health issues before.

Has anyone an idea what it could be?

Dawg you're like answering your own question as you write it. You're an unhealthy fuck who smokes? What else do you want to hear lol? You're probably just experiencing some growing pains. That's about all I could get from your post since you're not really specific with what you were doing when it happened. Just cut back on the smoking, see if it helps, although its probably not that. Start being a little bit more active, it can definitely help out with not getting injured as easily.

Have you had an accident recently? Do you lift heavy stuff on a daily basis or have you recently? If you breathe in does it hurt more? Do you have episodes of pain or is it constant? Does it focus on a certain area and if it does, does it hurt more or the same when you touch it? Does the pain go somewhere else like your arm, neck or back? Do you have any other symptoms like a lot of sweat or trouble breathing? How about exercise? Does it get worse when you walk or climb stairs? Do you cough a lot, and if you do, does it change the course of the pain?

I highly doubt it's the heart, unless you've had problems like this since you were a kid or if you took some hard drugs recently (like coke)

Is natural tanning safe in the sense that I'm not going to ruin my skin and age faster?If so what is the safest way considering the fact that im as pale as it gets.I want to do it mostly because i've read that the sun produces vitamin d which is really important.Also is it true that your hair becomes lighter because my hair is light brown and it would be great to become blonde again like when i was 3-4 years old.

I tan for 20 minutes when the suns out. I do it naked in my backyard. 10min front , 10min back. If I don't do that I end up getting that pasty NEET ghost look to my appearance. The tanning keeps me looking like a normal person who actually leaves the house.

I am living in Australia, but I am of Greek heritage so I tan very well and don't burn. But I do end up looking like Casper the NEET ghost if I never do the tanning sessions.

I think the skin cancer thing is aimed more so at people who spend hours and hours in the sun and get burnt a lot.
