What are some realistic weight loss goals I can set within 4 months. I'm 18, 230 pounds, 6'1. I plan on exercising at least 5 days a week.

2lbs a week is doable, but it will be a challenge. you need to track every single calorie and ensure you're running a 1000 calorie a day deficit. if you dont do this you will fail.

What are you thinking about to push you when you're lifting heavier than ever before and fighting the pain? What thoughts are going through your head during that primal moment? I feel a lot of tension on the circled area throughout the day. Sometimes it gets painful too. When i lift, the discomfort usually goes away, however i feel some pain when i retract my scapula or do exercises that target the traps. The only thing that makes the tension stop is twisting or hyperextending my upper back. I have stopped lifting for a while but i dont think it is getting better. Has anyone had a similar injury?

Yeah. I have the exact same problem. In the exact same spot. It hurts almost every day for me. Has for years.

I've tried stretches. They do nothing. I went to a doctor and got an X-ray done. Came back that everything was fine. Then he told me, in so many words, to stop being a bitch and learn to live with it.

I went to a chiropractor and he cracked my back a couple of times. Didn't help. I tried doing chin-ups/pull-ups to strengthens upper back. Made it worse. I tried not lifting. Lost gains but maintained back pain. Cut down to 150lbs. No affect.

If I take lots of NSAIDs everyday it bothers me less. But I'm going to destroy my insides by doing that. Right now I do lots of cardio and try to maintain good posture throughout the day. Helps a little.

I still have no fucking idea what's wrong with me.

I do too but mine is a big fat fucking muscle knot.. maybe get a message or if you're poor get a lacrosse or racket ball and lay down on it and work it out yourself (if it's a muscle knot like i have)

i stopped drinking which stopped making me crave shitty food. i started eating healthier and vegetables made me feel like i was high when i started eating them, my body was screaming for nutrition. never looked back.

I am nearly 29. Have been shut-in since high-school. Although I recently started online university and attend exams in person. After a couple years lifting at my local gym I ended up buying my own gym setup at home, so I don't I basically never leave the house now unless I am doing exams.

If you're under 21 you have a good chance, if you're under 25 if you have some chance. If you're 25+ you don't really have any chance and you'll need to figure out away around the system to get things done.

I get really sick when I'm working out at the gym. I see black sploches, become pale, and end up nearly passing out causing me to sit in the bathroom for 20 mins in order to recover. Especially when I'm using machines. What am I doing wrong? How can I avoid this?
