If I can make something for $3 and sell to the customer for $10, that's a $7 profit. Now, if that $7 is totally mine, I can make $1 million / year with just under 36,000 customers. I think it's safe to say they have at least that many people buying it.

Think about how well the pet rock did in the US in the 70's. It was a completely retarded thing and just to make money. Yet it was extremely cheap but due to popularity and number of orders, made millions.

Had surgery in september for a "labrum tear" which wasnt a labrum tear and every since the surgery I have had pain constantly in this spot. The bicipital groove. The bottom side of it. I guess this is called long head of the biceps tendinitis, but probably tendinosis now. I have no fucking idea how to fix it. I dont even lift anymore. I just want to get better..I don't have insurance where I am staying because im at school 11 hours away from home. Only way to get an MRI is to drive back and i never planned on going back

It's like, spinning your wheels. Just lift with a proper routine and focus on getting stronger, that's what gives gains. Going to the gym for hours and hours multiple times a day isn't going to magically make you big just because you put all that time/effort into it.

Its like anything else in life, work smart - not hard.

I havent been working out a lot but ive read the sticky here, read ss and been lurking for a while.

I want to start working out but the only gym available to me is shit and doesnt have a squat rack, could anyone tell me some good excersizes i can do instead of low bar squats and ohp? Perhaps something using dumbbells would be better?

I need your wisdom /fit/

I've been cutting and lifting for a couple of weeks

First week feeling great, alive again. But this week man, holy shit I can't even get up from bed. I feel apathic and very tired in the morning, like 0 energy.

I'm doing a PHAT routine and cutting with a ~1600-1800 cal diet, 6'2" and 193 pounds.

Maybe I'm fucking up with my macros? 40-50% protein, 40-30% carbs, 20% fats

When I started out 1,5 years ago I weighted 61 kilos (139lbs) at 183cm (6ft). Now I weigh 80 kilos (180lbs) and I've also gotten much stronger, but not strong enough. My one rep maxes are 2pl8 for squat (high bar) and 2,5pl8 for deadlift (conventional). At one point I don't want to stop bulking because I still want to get stronger but I also want to stay at this current weight. Would I need to bulk some more and then cut after gaining that extra strength? I see people who have been lifting for longer than me and they weigh less but lift over twice than me.

Have I just not been lifting hard enough for the past 18 months? I've mostly been doing 3x5 progressive overload on all main lifts. Is it time I started on a proper intermediate routine?

Maybe I'll get shit for this but if what you're doing isn't working it's time to try something else. What works for most isn't what works for everyone. But what is slow progress for you? If you can still add like 2.5kg a week on your squat I wouldn't change it.

Also, if you really want to stay at 80kg then you should bulk and cut in cycles, but why would you want to cap yourself at 80?

Basic bodyweight routine
– done thrice a week on non-consecutive days
– for absolute beginners to any form of fitness
– to be done in a circuit fashion
– leg exercise can be – lunges, get-ups, step-ups, eventually practice for pistol squats
Workout
A1 Pushups – 3xAMRAP / 60
A2 Chinups – 3xAMRAP / 60
A3 Leg exercise – 3xAMRAP / 60

Leg exercise should pistol squats or it's easier variants until you can do a pistol squat.


Advanced bodyweight routine
– also my ideal vision of a teen workout
– once you can do more than 20 reps on all exercises, you can add some weight (backpacks, belts, and similar)
– also to be done as a circuit, thrice a week on non-consecutive days
– for non-teens who wish to utilize this, superset exercises (don’t do them as a circuit), up the rest times to 60 sec and do 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps
Workout
A1 Pistol squats – 2-3×10-20 / 45
A2 Dips – 2-3×10-20 / 45
A3 Chinups – 2-3×10-20 / 45
A4 Pushups – 2-3×10-20 / 45 -work your way up to a handstand pushup
A5 Inverted rows – 2-3×10-20 / 45
A6 Hanging leg raises – 2-3×10-20 / 45 -work your way up to a full hanging V-up
A7 Back extensions – 2-3×10-20 / 45 -eventually, try glute-ham raises
