We all know it's great cardio, but apparently the cold of the water triggers your body to store a layer of fat. Is this a myth, or is it accurate? Will swimming stop me from being able to cut to 10% bf?

Swimming is great cardio. Probably my favorite or maybe biking.
Losing fat is all about being in a caloric deficit. Sure swimming will burn calories but to lose weight you need to check your diet.

I'm 18 years old, currently a senior in High School so its hard fitting in many meals, but I'm been having horrible struggles with this extra "fat" in my stubborn fat area, I know this is the hardest part of my body to lose and the area where my body loves storing fats, but how can I speed up this process or is there any work outs I can do to help tighten this area up?
I started at 232 body weight at 6'5.
I am now 202 6'5 with this heavy pouch of fat under my belly button.
My diet consists of:
Breakfast: (6:30 AM)
Oatmeal or Eggs
Banana
Fit and Lite Yogurt (150 calories/15g protein)
Lunch: (10:30 AM)
1 cup of white / brown rice
3-4 oz's of cooked chicken breast
carrots/corn/high protein blend bagged vegtables
Mid-day snack: (2:30/3)
Fit and Lite Yogurt
Apple / Banana
Granola
Before the gym: (6:30/7)
Monster or Pre-workout (C4 Ripped)
Tablespoon of peanut butter
After gym: (8:30/9)

I've been cutting at a 500-600 calorie deficit for a few months, and my 1lb/week weight loss has come to a grinding halt. I don't know myBF%, but it's not THAT low, so I'd be surprised if I really needed a re-feed, but... I wonder if eating at maintenance for a day would kick stuff into gear again?
My face has also become kinda gaunt, almost unhealthy looking... again, BF is not super low, so I don't know why. Again, I wonder if a brief re-feed would get me looking a bit healthier again.

Re feed is stupid. Body makes changes based on averages over the course of weeks/months. Just dip the calories a bit more or try to up the intensity of workouts to spike metabolism

I have found that one day of refeed won't do much for your metabolism and leptin.I recommend eating at maintenance calories for 7-12 days focus mainly on carbs and protein to balance all your hormones.You can start refeeding once a week when you get between 12-15% bodyfat or just carb cycle if you want to
