Lifting for over a year now
bulked hard, now I have a high bodyfat percentage, so I wanted to cut down a bit.

For the past 10 weeks I've been eating 1800 STRICT.

I wake up, have some eggs for breakfast with pork sausages, which totals up to 500 calories. I have a protein shake afterwards, which is 200 calories. then I go to work and I drink a couple of cups of coffee per day. I get home, I go to the gym, come back and eat a bunch of chicken and broccolli, which totals to 900 extra calories. Then before i go to sleep I have another protein shake + ZMA, Fish oil and amino acid pills.

I've lost 4kg. But I look exactly the same, I still look fat. Mind you, I was never that fat to begin with, I was maybe at 20% MAX, so shouldn't I be seeing SOME sort of result in 2+ months?

What am I doing wrong?

Never understood why people hate brown rice taste. I actually prefer it. Same with oats with water, ever since I was a kid I would even ask mom etc to make it for me as a snack desert of some sort. Maybe I am weird.

A Day
Freeweights:
>Bench 5x5
>Pullups/Dips (superset) 5x5
>Back Squats 5x5
>Barbell Curls 3x10
Machines:
>Pec Flies 3x10
>Hip Abductor 3x10
>Hip Adductor 3x10
>Chest Press 4x10

>Leg Raises (in between lifts, as desired. at least 3 sets of 10)

B Day
Freeweights:

>Bent-over Row 5x5
>Standing Press 5x5
>Deadlift 3x5
Machines:
>Seated Leg Curl 3x10

I work out on odd days, no exceptions, alternating A and B day.

I've just recently added the machines onto my main lifts to get a better workout and try to isolate what I felt is lacking.
B Day could use some work, given that it's so short compared to A Day. But I'm not sure what to add.

Daily reminder women are fucking delusional as fuck when it comes to bodybuilding and they think you can become Zyzz in less than a year of lifting.

This is why lifting for women is pointless if you're a natty. Even if you're not, a lot of non-natties will not look impressive to women either.

So /fit, yesterday something fucking weird happened. I tried out a new gym circuit of doing 10 minutes of intense cardio and then doing a lot of weight. I completed this circuit 3 times.
So as I was on my third and final circuit, I was doing shoulders and suddenly I felt like my arms could barely move and I had no control over them and I tried to breath in and I felt as if no oxygen was actually being absorbed by my bloodstream. What could of causes this and what the fuck happened ? This was the hardest workout I ever did so was it just exhaustion ? After that happened I drank some water and left. Was it just exhaustion or something more ? Would it of been safe to ignore this and keep working out ?
I am a male 6,1 170 pounds 19 years old.

How come when I go into different gyms my bench press varies so greatly?

This has happened to me quite a few times now, from going to university, to my gym, to my friends gym, to switching gyms. Sometimes the amount I can bench varies by 20-30lbs. What I can easily throw around in one gym will be a sincere struggle in another gym.

What are the effects of bench width? What is the "official" bench width standard? Are the bars different diameters? Is the weight distribution of the bars different? What is going on?

Some gyms have bars that only weigh 10kg rather than 20kg, my gym has a mix of both. I always end up using the 20kg because it's the standard.

I'm 6 ft, 98kg, I've been lifting for about 1 and a half years. I've made some decent muscle gains but I'm still overweight.

I've had a few friends tell me about intermittent fasting and I've seen a few videos on the internet about it.

I was wondering if any of you guys have done it? And what was your experience like? Is it worth doing? I'm aiming to lose 15-20kg.

I'm only about 3 weeks into it but I've lost maybe 1-2 kgs (from 92-90). During that same time period I have been lifting for 45mins 3xweek as well, so I might have put on a few grams of muscle too.

I've read some studies that show that fasting every once in a while may have benefits, but I don't know if I prefer it before just eating less cals overall..

In order to stay not hungry I have to drink lots of water and tea/coffee, which doesn't feel natural.

Sure, you enjoy the food more if you wait for it, but you won't feel as relaxed as normal if you're feeling hungry all day.

You can always just eat less calorie dense food.

Heres a small piece of what little documentation I have of my journey. The loss of fat is barely noticeable imo, but I do see some difference.

My Situation:

What's on your fitness bucket list?
Mine:
1. Win a local race (5k, 10k, half or full marathon)
2. 1/2/3/4
3. Win an amateur fight (Boxing, wrestling, or MMA; haven't started training at all)
4. Hold breath for 5 minutes (no idea how hard it is)
5. Full split frontal
6. 3 minutes hang from a bar (I'm probably around 1 minute).
