The first thing you need to do is start. Everybody is different and reacts differently; you need to find out for yourself what works for you and then build/change your routine based on that. Nobody said it'd be easy, but it's damn worth it.

How do I go back to bulking? I was a skinnyfat then bulked until I reached 1/2/3/4 and then cut to 8%...

I'm getting a little soft at the end of the summer and it's giving me anxiety and i know I need to bulk again but how the fuck do you stand going back to getting soft?! I'm so used to starving myself now...

Recently I have been getting a weird pain in my forearm whenever I lift. Specifically when I am hammer/ preacher curling, but the pain is a little bit constant throughout the gym session.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? I tend to click my wrist on that arm and I feel like I might have RSI or something similar.

Thats my phase 2 pull workout every other week

I just kinda accepted it, it goes away quick and is only around when I'm working out, when functional outside of lifting theres never a problem

If you like me anon, I wouldn't worry about it, if it persists passed lifting, see a doctor.

Hey /fit/, are there any /fit/ bros here training with a pacemaker?

I had pacemaker implants last year, with the leads going under my collarbone and I want to slowly get back into training. My doctor said no more pull ups and shoulder press but they are not sure about bench press.

hey man, i have a Implanted Cardioverter Defibrillator in my left shoulder ever since i had a cardiac arrest at the age of late 14s, i started training the day i turned 16 and have been doing pull ups, shoulder presses and bench presses. ive noticed it only ever seems to hurt on the isolateral chest press and on push ups. but its hardly a pain and moreso a slight discomfort.

Experiment a little bit with some hefty objects around the house and see what you can do. I have a client with a pacemaker who does most of his fitness regimen in the pool. I'd recommend that you avoid butterfly stroke based on where your leads are, but everything else should be fair game.

Don't worry you won't. Make sure that when you lower your head you do it slow enough so those muscles in the back of your neck can contract. Don't just jolt your head back like a retard, that's a one way trip to FuckMyNeckUp City.

So at uni I will be rowing 3 times a week to start of with (evenings) Now in lunchbreaks/sometimes when I start late with uni I want to lift weight. I came up with the following plan, btw lifting legs ONCE a week because rowing is very leg intensive.

Push: Bench 4x5, OHP 3x5,incl. Dumbell press 3x6-8, Dum. Shoulder press 3x8-12, Dum. Lat. Raise supersetted with Dum. pullover 3x8-10, overhead tricep extension 4x8-12, cable extension 4x12-15

Pull:
Diddly 3x5, Lat pulldown 3x6-8 and Pullups (alternating every workout), T-bar row 3x6-8, Dum. Row 3x6-8, BB curl 4x8-12, contraction curls4x8-12, reverse cable flyes 2x8-12

Legs:
Squat 3x5, Leg press 3x6-8, Leg curl 3x12-15, leg extension 3x12-15, hanging leg raise 3x8-12

Looking for this: Pull-Push-Legs-Pull-Push-..-... And I will fill in the two restdays Iยดll have after getting my rowing practice scheme. Any thoughts?

I'd work in some burnout exercises to do after your lifting sets. Im a rower as well and I did ab rollouts and this one exercise that involves twisting a pvc pipe with a 7 - 10 pound plate attatched to it by a string. The goal is to twist it until the string is fully wrapped around the pipe plate reaches the top. Burns the shit out of your forearms. Also maybe some rope machine sets.

What is /fit/s opinion on SARMs, specifically LGD 4033. A friend of mine has recently started taking this and swears that there are no adverse side effects. As far as I know he's been on it for a few weeks. It's apparently stil in the process of being approved by the FDA. Googled it and most links claim it's a miracle drug save fore one horror story that was posted on reddit, and even then everyone who replied to the thread basically claimed he used it improperly.
