Pullups have a longer range of motion and more upperbody involvement.

Alright boys, I decided to lose some fat by summer. The problem is I am such a poorfag I can't afford gym.. BUT i have two sets of adjustable dumbbells and stationary bike. I am going dumbbells, HIIT, dumbbells, HIIT, so i workout everyday. I am also eating about 1500 cals, usually a bit less. Will this do to lose fat? I am about fucking 30%. Been doing this for 2 weeks now, but I think I am only down by water. Also, my dumbbell training plan is 5—6 exercises, 3 sets 10 reps, which takes me about 20 minutes. Is this right?

>>36934012
Sounds like a good way to lose fat, keep at it.
>>
>>36934012
What's your weight and height? 20 mins sounds very short for that amount of excersises and sets, so you're probably doing way too light weight.
>>
> by summer

it almost is summer, losing weight takes time.

Make sure to eat enough protein from high-quality protein sources to avoid muscle-loss/encourage muscle-growth.

Make sure you are hydrated at all times.

Use a bodyfat caliper (cheap) or measure waist circumference (even cheaper) instead of/in addition to using a scale. Your weight means very little, bodyfat% and waist circumference are way better indicators of progress.

I'm 6'1 225lbs, started @ 134lbs 2,5 years ago. My lifts are a little over 1/2/3/4 3x5.

I want to focus on bodybuilding for the coming year, but I don't dare to cut because I feel that I don't have enough muscle mass to look good. Now I look at least a little big with clothes on.

What bodyfat% do I have?
What bodybuilding routine should I follow?
At what weight would I look good if I would cut?

Thanks /fit/,

Also general advice thread.

>How do I build 3D delts?
I'm currently doing StrongLifts 5x5, and will soon move over to Starting Strength with Pendlay Row. My assistance exercise are dips and chinup.

I want to build dat natty 3D delts, but I don't feel like OHP and Pendlay row is not enough. I thinking about isolating shoulders after every workout, but I don't want to spend hours in the gym.

What can I do to make my post delta bigger? Im currently doing body weight work outs rn and my postiorer delta aren't really growing. Any ideas /fit/?

barbell rows and rear delt flys for sure.

i neglected barbell rows for so long because i originally couldn't get the form down right, but once i finally introduced them into my routine and got really good at them and really strong, my rear delts finally came up to match my front delts.

learning to bb row properly is a pain in the ass, but worth it in the end.

the rear delt flys are really easy, but you must go lighter on them than you think, if you go to heavy other muscles take over.

Since this board is about self-improvement, I have a question some of you might relate to. I have a problem with excessive fits of rage dues to objectively minor issues (such as missing smashes in tennis or a gas pump stealing 10 euros or my team losing or similar nonsense of that level). I have no problems with working under pressure and resolving serious problems, but petty shit like that throws me into a fit of seething (although usually short-lasting) anger.

Do any of you have similar issues, and how do you use fitness/lifting to resolve them? What physical activity would you recommend for relieving that sudden burst of angry energy?

>inb4 roidrage

Never juiced, and also I've had the same issue all my life, only been lifting regularly for a year.

>inb4 unwarranted psychoanalysis

I'm not asking for your opinion on my psychological condition, I'm asking what is relevant for this board, and that is physical activity for the purpose of bettering oneself - in this case, anger management.

Why do mustaches make some men look alpha (such as tom selleck, he looks way better with a 'stache), while others look like pedos

Should i do SS if im on steroids and my lifts are novice level? or go for a 4 day split?
im an athlete i train for strength but want to get to a 10kg higher weightclass
no shitposting
yes i know i shouldnt be on steroids
test e 500mg/week

>>
>>36932971
there's actually a section in the SS book about this. "Training on steroids" basically its the same program, but with 6 days a week instead of 3. also, you increase lifts by 10lbs each time, not 5
>>
>>36932989
to put things in order
i had 160kg deadlift
140kg squat
and 90kg bench for 8 reps
when i weighted 78kg
i had to quit lifting and the sport i do for a period of a year
now i want to get back to same level + get to the level i wud be by now
i realise the lifts i had arent impressive either but lifting weights wasnt my main concern either
