Why do macros matter while cutting? I understand if you want to maintain muscle your protein should be properly accounted for. but for the average person that wants to be /fit/, not a gainer/bodybuilder, does it matter?

Yes, the average person who wants to remain and stay as average, should not to care what they're shoving into their mouth.

If you want to even get "fit" as you stated someone like that would want to, they would take some initiative towards shaping their diet to meet their goals.

Simply eating random shit, stuffing your face, etc. With no care in the world what your ingesting, is simply wasted time and effort to get to that goal.

That's why macros and micros are important to the people here. The most cost effective way to get your goal as fast and efficiently as possible.

How the fuck do I do this exercise with proper form? Barbell rows are only exercise where no matter what I do I feel like a retarded stick insect. I'm 6'4 if height matters here.

Does anyone else here genuinely think that r/fitness is a better resource? Everyone on /fit/ is so autistically obsessed with "muh big 4" and "muh gains". I've become much more healthy and happy following Reddit's advice over /fit/.

TL;DR: r/fitness, r/powerlifting, r/weightlifting are all much better resources than /fit/.

Iron in the gym to break you down, iron in the kitchen to build back up. Cooking in cast iron is the ultimate gains-goblin repellent. Here's what I've done today:

>3 scrambled eggs at 5:00am, then gym.
>Come home for lunch, sear chicken breast with sauteed mushrooms, peppers, and tomatoes.
>T-Bone steak for dinner. I introduce it to the pan for 2 minutes per side and rest it 5 mins, then eat with baked sweet potatoes and veg.

I love it. I will always love it. My son will love it, and long after I'm dead he will still be using it to pass on the gains.

Alright guys, after much stalling, I'm ready to begin my quest to earn my spot as a /fit/izen. Short story is, Ive run into what may be the most pleasant woman Ive ever met, and even if Im a skinny fat fag now, I want to improve, if only for her. Current stats :

Age : 19
Race : White (eastern european)
Wt : 194
Ht: 6'1

I havent done much actually lifting in my life, and I have exercise induced asthma. I love raw fruits and veggies, and any meat is good meat. (I eat like a Mac Truck) I dont care as much about being bulky as I do being lean, and maybe getting a bit of definition. It doesnt matter what it takes, I've got my reason now, and Im ready.
