hi /fit/

so i started my first bulk , at 200 calories over maintenance 6 days ago.

i gained 900 grams of fat, and only 90 grams of muscle masse.

what am i doing wrong?

should i lower my fat intake?
wouldnt that slow my gains?

i have a scale that measure tons of stuff like bodyfat, muscle masse % and all that.

then i just convert the % into kilos, and do that every weeks to see if i'm doing things well or not.

but i dont know if i should have high carb lower everything else, or low carb and high protein diet.

Let's put memes aside for a second.
How good would crossfit be if I want to make friends? I've been going to the gym for over a year and besides a couple of guys I talk to when I work in with them I'm still lonely as fuck. Never grabbed a beer with any of them out of the gym or anything.
There's a couple of crossfit guys who come to the gym and they're always together working in groups of 4 or 5, that looks fun. Getting to talk to a woman more frequently than once a year would be great too, and women in the weight room and non existent.
I don't care about how inefficient it is or how likely I am to snap my shit, and I know it's blown out of proportion anyway.
Any anon who does crossfit wants to share his experience with me?

I used to go to a crossfit gym. You get to do a lot of pair work, so that helps. Of course every crossfit gym does things differently so it might not be certain that this will happen. Probably like 90% of a lot of group work, either in 2's or 3's.

not entirely sure if /fit/ is the right board for this, but a pal and I are taking up stick fighting/fencing, but are not sure what to look for in the way of sticks. Is it worth it to spring for something for competition even if we mostly are just doing it for recreation/self-defense or are we fine just sticking with strong wooden broom sticks.

Hey! So I read the sticky and I've been doing cardio and counting my calories for like a month but I havnt lost any weight- I actually GAINED weight!
How is this possible? Am I bloating or something from changing my diet?
Especially around my face has become kind of chubby, see? Is it possible that this is some sort of unique genetic reaction? What type of Doctor should I talk to to figure out what's wrong with me? A nutritionist or something?
