I was just diagnosed with ADHD, I am 22. It makes a lot of sense looking back over my life, and I'm not surprised. So I tried a friend's Adderall and really it felt wonderful, just sat and got what I needed done, wasn't impulsive or distracted. I do have a concern before I get a prescription of my own, it works great, but it is a pretty heavy stimulant and I know from experience I tend towards addictive or very habitual behavior. I already eat very well, exercise regularly, I've been struggling to make a daily habit of meditation but I do it very often. I would just like to give myself a chance of trying a natural alternative first, now that I'm sure that these symptoms of are part of a disorder and not just my inherent personality.

Any suggestions?

i've asked in /meg/ and read through the Physical Training Guide. it seems the guide is geared more towards basic minimum requirements, and other than the /fit/meg/ guy, everyone just suggests Couch25k
any active duty or prior service have and tips for standing out physically at Basic?
Currently at

>40-60 sit ups in 2 minutes
>2 mile run in 18:00, sometimes a little faster

i know i need to work on my run, tips?

It's literally just cardio. I went in to the Navy doing a 6:30 mile, 60 push-ups/2 minutes, and 80 to 90 sit-ups/2 minutes and I was basically in top percent for how fit I was. Run as much as you can and if you want to improve your push-ups and sit-ups, do the 5 minute interval thing. 5 minutes of nonstop push-ups followed by 5 minutes of rest for 30 minutes. Don't do it more than once or twice a week.

Basic lifting for strength and just overall feeling and looking better is recommended. If you're going for specops then just train cardio even harder. I did the Diver test about a year into service and passed it easy. Endurance is all that it's about

just find a shop that sells chicken quarterlegs per 10kg for cheap.
i have a shop that sells 10kg for 15 euro. thats enough meat for 2 weeks on a bulk. the rest you can fill out with rice if you want to be super cheap. like a bag of 10 kg rice is 10-12 euro ? that shit will last you at least a month. you have now spend 20 euro for 2 weeks.

assuming you only drink water you dont need to buy expensive drinks like cola.

you can spend 10 euro a week on vegetables and addons for your rice. at most you will spent 20 euro a week (note the first week might be double if you need to stock up on spices.)

and this doesnt even have to be bland, there are so many different spices you can use on chicken legs to make them taste vastly different. same for rice.

Progress thread, Could really use one, feeling like shit.

I'm 6"00, 25 yo.

The whole thing from 1st pic to last one took around 3 years, had to take a year long break from lifting because of torn ankle ligament (doubt i'll ever be able to squat again, lost nearly all flexibility on that ankle) and med school so you could say around 2 years of cutting. Started with bullshit gym machines & lots of cardio then read /fit/ and started SL 5X5.

Highest lifts before I fked my ankle up were :

90 kg Squat and going up
120 kg DL and going up
37.5 kg OHP stalled (for a month even after unload)
60 kg Bench stalled ( same )

When I watch progress threads I see people getting really big even tho they are still cutting, how the heck can they do that ? I work my ass off and I'm sore after every working, muscles hurting a little. I take a protein shaker designed for cutting once a day for dinner + veggies. I guess I should be happy of just losing fat but fuck, its been a while and I'm still not done losing fat and look DYEL, feels bad.
