Some of the employees at my gym are like that. You can be fat or skeltal, doesn't matter as long as you can talk your ass off and sell memberships. I do absolutely nothing at work. It's great. Been here since November and I've only sold like 5 memberships.

who /migraine/ here? how long have you been dealing with it? what does a typical attack look like to you? has anything helped you with it? does your migraine hinder your lifting in any way?

I just recovered from an attack, got migraines since early childhood, now at 24 yo. shit sucks man.

I get them about once every 3-4months. Luckily, they aren't severe. I get the loss of vision part, and I know what's coming. Headache is sharp and in the front right side of my brain, but it's not enough to stop me from sleeping. Usually I just sleep them off once I feel one coming.

I just try to survive really. I luckily have only had one while I was out, and I just waited out the vision loss. If I am with someone or need to do something, I let the person know what's happening and usually they're quite understanding. Once the vision loss is gone, I simply exist until I can find a time to rest. Usually a fast nap gets rid of them, even closing my eyes and just laying my head down for like 20-30min has helped a lot.

Eyup lads, anyone have experience with getting TRT from the doctor? Apparently your natural testosterone levels are reduced with a hangover, I'm thinking of asking for a blood test, cos of all my "low testosterone symptoms". Have a massive bender the night before the bloodwork is done.

Could that work? Could a massive hangover lower my test levels so much that a blood panel would come up with low enough testosterone, giving the green light for a script from the doctor?

Anyone try this? Any experience with this?

Hi,

I'm after a bit of advice, I'm going on holiday to italy in 6 weeks. I'm wondering if its possible to go from being a really skinny, weasel-type guy to looking somewhat respectable in that time.
I just want to get to the stage where I have some form of muscles on my arms and legs, and can basically walk around without a shirt on without feeling self-conscious.

I can drive, have access to an exercise bike at home, a pushbike and relatively little money to invest in this plan.

I'd probably make it an ongoing thing after my holiday but atm this is what I want, so any advice would be awesome.

If this is too entry-level for /fit/ tell me and I'll go to /adv/

Got an advice question for you guys. Im an Uber driver but on a cut and try to eat every 3-5 hours. Since i cant microwave or keep pre cooked chicken and broccoli in my car i was thinking i could sub a meal with a protein bar so i can just keep driving. Is this a good idea in a pinch? If so what are some good protein bars with little or no carbs?

You're missing my point.

Here's what you do:
Warm up your food before you leave your house. Stick it in an insulated lunch bag. The food should stay warm to semi-warm for at least 6 hours. Even after 6 hours, the food won't be COLD.

That being said, stop being a pussy and just eat the damn food. Who gives a shit if it's not your optimal level of warmth. I've had to go on trips for work that required me to sit in a van for 8 hour drives. While my coworkers pigged out of McDonald's, I'd be eating a warm fucking salad. It's not going to kill you if your food isn't piping hot dude.

I started feeling pain in the outside of my ulna bone in forearm when lifting.
I have to do DB curls instead of BB curls.

What can i do about the pain?

Ive had this pain on and off for a while. Only thing that helped is dropping the weights with à straight arm instead of at an angle. Puts less stress on the forearm

>Start IF 3 months ago and lost another 5 lbs to start my summer cut

>Finally ready to get back into the gym after 6 weeks of pretty much being a slob
>Hoping to get back in shape for a pool party my apartment complex is holding July 27th

How fucked am I, /fit/? I gained 10 lbs over the past 6 weeks, and lost a lot of definition in my muscles/abs (180 at this point). Will I be able to look semi-decent if I go back to the gym and get back on my diet/IF?

Good to hear. I figured muscle memory would help some, but I didn't know if I'd have to do extreme cutting or over the top exercises to lose 15 lbs by then.

Also a little paranoid about lifting even though my lawyer is advising against it. But I've been so depressed since I stopped going to the gym, I feel like I'll go nuts if I sit out for another 2 months.

Okay, I've been around /fit/ since 2011. I have never seen it in the state of decay that it is now. I know we don't have cool tripfags anymore. Our current memes are stale and okay at times, but nothing really all that great (roaches, FRAME HEIGHT FACE, chad eating PIZZA, etc) But the WORST OF ALL is this invasion from /r9k/. Janitors and mods are doing NOTHING about this. It's okay to have feel threads, but just like 'Fat People Stories' they should be restricted to one thread. It is ridiculous. Everything is self-loathing. Everything is:

>why can't this one girl, who I obsess over, love me

Like, we get it. We all get feels sometimes, bros. But c'mon. We're supposed to be in this together. We're supposed to push each other to be better. What we do is already rare. Most people don't lift. Most people live in this world in a trance. We don't, we strive for betterment. We respect who we are, and our bodies and mind. Insecurities exist, but we must overcome them. We must realize that we have a choice. We can either let our feelings overtake us; get in the way of our improvement, or we can choose to control them, to control our actions, to not let our state of being from doing right actions. You don't get girls by NEEDING them, you get them by making them NEED YOU. It is possible, everyone can change, this is why we do what we do. Now let's get on track with what we want out of life and put aside our fears and sufferings. Life's too short. The world has a lot of great things to offer you, and the only person who is in the way is yourself. Find a purpose. Live with principles. Develop yourself socially. Rest your happiness on yourself rather than on things that are external. Be happy with who you are (take deep breath and realize this) and simply do what you think is right, screw the outcomes or consequences. I love you, my brothers, but this has gotten ugly.
