Diet sodas have very little calories, with some brands even having none.

Im currently 12 days into a fast, and want to know if drinking a few cans of diet soda would, in any way, affect the fast?

Aspartame does not cause an insulin response. However, just drink some water with some salt and potassium.

Just throwing up progress pic for you shit talkers, fellow bros on the come up, fatties losing fat, and lastly you "what's the secretz?!"
Consistency and be better than yesterday is the key. I've made the most gains at 30 when I was consistent. Meal prepping for my mon-sat job. Lifting full body 3 days a week. Started running on off days. Today marks my 90th day of sticking with it and I'm still going strong.
Y'all have a good weekend. Be better every day!

Stats: 5"11 Manlet

Which one is the before pic?

I noticed that a lot of them have this chubby strong look. I'm curious as to why they want to look that way. Is the fat giving them better performance? Is this just the result of not using steroids in comparison to WWE? Just curious.

that's just a hypothesis : the chubby thing makes them more relatable to the spectator. The guy in your pic looks like a dude you could see grocery shopping, while you don't want to see the undertaker in the line at your pharmacy

Good one. I have a hard time ever hitting my goal for fats (160g) so I eat a lot of peanut butter.

How do you calculate this?
I have been avoiding fat as sugar and sodium. But currently trying to bulk up, but clean.

Yes. It's very expensive, can mess up your hormone levels (not just test/estrogen but insulin as well) can lower your bone density. There's actual cancer rehab centers that prescribe exercise to cancer patients to help mitigate the effects of chemo.

The secret to getting shredded is simple.

>Step 1. Super crazy calorie deficit with high protein for 3-5 days (we talking eating 1000 to 1500 calories max, but still getting all of your protein requirements)

>Step 2. When you begin to feel absolutely horrible, weigh yourself. The feeling of horrible kicks in after 3-5 days.

>Step 3. Enter your current weight in a calorie calculator of choice, eat maintenance calories (say 2650 calories), eat at maintenance for about 2-3 days. Use these 2-3 days to feel better and recover, you wont gain any body-fat because you're eating at maintenance and refilling glycogen stores. You'll be mentally and physically prepared for the next aggressive cycle of calorie deficit.

>Step 4. Repeat the process, adjusting for new maintenance calories after every deficit cycle you complete.

This strategy is 100% more effective and efficient than doing a prolonged calorie deficit over the course of months.

I am giving this information out without any questions asked because I have just quit my job working as a prep coach for a variety of different professional athletes and contest bodybuilders both assisted and natural and I thought /fit/ would be interested in having this information.

This is basically Lyle McDonalds RFL. You didnt create this, and it isnt secret info youre giving away.

>>
>>42565041
Depends on your area.
If you're near a port, fresh fish.
If you're in farmland, gainsbirds.

If meat is expensive, just order whey protein online.
Have a bit of meat/dairy, a few protein shakes and fill the rest of your diet up with fibrous greens.

I managed 150g protein on 1300kcal yesterday.

so i read the sticky and read /r/fitness, so i think im sort of educated on fitness and lifting. that's sort of what i look like skinny fat with barely and muscle.

i've been cutting for the past 2 weeks on a 500-1000 calorie deficit and with low carbs. I've lost about 9 pounds (most of it is probably water weight).

i started lifting originally in june and followed strong lifts for a good month and a half and was able to increase my squat to 1 plate, deadlift to 1 plate and 10, a bench to 35 lbs.

so i'm going off to uni in like 2 weeks and i'm indecisive whether i should be cutting or bulking right now. My uni has the nutrition listing on their dining menu, but hte food is random everyday day lol.

on my cut i have been following PPLPPLR with 30 min of core work after

i'm currently 5'7, 145 lbs,

my lifts if it matters:
squat: 145
deadlift: 155
bench: 115
ohp: 75
barbell row: 95

>>
>>42564826
I think if you ate that much broccoli youd overdose on that chemical that makes it impossible to absorbe calcium

What does /fit/ think about this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea0IzY_3YqE

Most men overestimate how well they can fight. If you actually went up against somebody who knew what they were doing, you would crash and burn. Your muscles would be useless against somebody who actually knew what they were doing in a fight. Fighting is the most primal of activities, so big muscles, in such a context, are nothing more than a facade if you can't actually back it up against an opponent.

it's 2017 AD, not 9481 BC.
in order of things you need for self defense it's
>how to draw and shot a gun efficiently
>disarm another person who has a gun efficiently
>grapple efficiently
kicking, punching, all that retard shit is worthless in the real world. inside rings does not matter as it's just play fighting with made up rules.
go ahead and waste time learning to throw a punch, I'll be busy over here pumping you full of lead and then semen.
