Everytime a female friend asks me to help them with fitness. I seriously feel bad that they've pretty much been brainwashed into believing that being skinny fat is the woman's version of being in shape.

My coach makes me practice light technique at the start of sessions over and over (25kg) for months, so I'm not sure if it's worth programming any real weights yet, he said to wait until my technique is flawless first? Is that just his method of coaching?

I would like a lot of focus on improving my back squat, positions and overall mobility/stability such as in OHS position.

I am 75kg 5'9 with a 140kg 1RM backsquat, 105kg frontsquat and a 65kg 1RM strict press. (Not sure if this helps).

They're still sort of memey. Most (not all) lifters can benefit from using a free barbell rather than smith. But hey, smith is good for heavy shrugs or behind the back shrugs.

Lots of machines can be kind of shitty. The non cable kind. Or the stupid ab machine you sit in and curl forward with. They have utility but they're not my thing

I've been using them to get swole after strength stuff (program very similar to your TM split), and the fact that they're VERY under-represented if not straight up dis-encouraged in strength stuff makes me a bit wary. Some bbers even say muscles contract more harder/more efficiently after having worked their antagonist.

There's nothing confusing about alternating dips and chinups with 2min in between. In his Crossfit stay Rip told crossfitters to alternate chins//dips//pushups or something like that.
