>what, if any, supplements are necessary?

I take 0 supplements and all of my friends say I am crazy. They insist I need to be taking protein,bcaa's, creatine all kinds of shit. Do they really help? I just lift to be healthy and active because I already have a /fit/ wife so I have no need to lift for aesthetics. Am I selling myself short?

I'm asking because I found out only today that caffeine fucks up with cortisol and I always had trouble with high spikes of cortisol in my body.

I drink daily 3/4 cup of espresso without sugar or milk and I take fat burners before workout wich have a fuck ton of caffeine, like 480mg per serving

Is there a /fit/ approved workout that involves no money/equipment?

Iam changing a few things in my life, starting with better food and exercise. Sadly, i don't have money to spend on a gym membership or equipment right now. Can you recommend a tutorial/website i can start with?
There are plenty ressources online, but i don't know enough about exercise yet to pick a good one.
